Ok, I know I am late but I didn't want to write before this sort of trip report 'cause it was a full period for me. The dates are 23 to the 26 of February and it was my 3rd trip to the dam after the one in july 2009 and november 2009. I took some pics(quite good the pics of the city,shit bud pics,I don't know why so bad). I went with a friend and we started our travel from Modena, Italy. Maybe you know it as motor city for Ferrari and Maserati. Took a train the morning of 23 February to Milan because we had our flight at 2.00 pm. I was really excited and can't wait. I was already thinking to the damrak and the bikes running on it and to all thing that reminded me the Dam. After boarding the flight assistents told us we had to wait on the plane 1hour and half because there were problems over France. Damn!I hoped they were joking but it wasn't so. I tried to read something but no way, it was impossible;tried to sleep,impossible too. The only way was to wait wait and wait. After 1hour 30 minutes we started our travel and arrived at schipol at 5pm. We had only hand baggages so began to run to the trains, bought 2 tickets and got the train. We arrived at Central Station around 5.40pm. Our first choice was the Green Place. After few minutes walking we arrived at the Green Place, put down baggages and began to look at the menu, top one in my opinion. I tried BBCheese Caramello Hia and Twizzla on past trip, and decided to buy 1 gram of Twizzla(12E/g) and my friend 1 gram of Headband(14E/g). We smoked 1 joint of each purchase and we were really satisfied, also because of the nice english budtender, and of course really stoned. Than went to our hostel(heart of amsterdam in the RLD)to leave baggages and then went to Baba cs on Warmoestraat, bought 1 gram of nepal Temple Ball and went to eat something. Our destination to spend the night was the Tweede Kamer. So we started our walking when it began to snow. We arrived to the Tweede Kamer, ordered two hot teas and purchased I purchased 1 gram of Habibi(15E/g) and 1 gram of Highrise Bio(7,5E/g); my friend purchased 1 gram of reclining buddah for 8 euro. The atmosphere in this cs is always incredible, local people in and we chatted and smoked for 2 hours. All purchases were very nice. We also tried the temple ball from baba but it was really shit,wood taste and harsh on the throat. Then we spent the last hour at the rokerij on the amstel were we bought the top sahara for 10 euro/gram and it was really top.Then decided to go back to our hostel to sleep and charge our batteries for the next day. 2nd Day 24 February
I got up early with the smell of good weed and hash coming to my nose and I cannor resist: it was 6AM and I wanted to smoke something. Rolled a joint of Habibi and smoked it while I was taaking a shower. My friend was of course sleeping so at 7.00 AM I went out to have a walk: I like so much walking around the dam. I walked for 1hour and half and I stopped in front of the Baba that was opening. I ordered an orange juice smoked a joint of Highrise bio,very nice smoke and one of the top sahara: I was waiting for the opening hour of Basjoe. At 10 PM I was in front of the Basjoe but I had to wait 10 minutes before James arrived: I smiled at him and I was the first coming in. I bought my favourite hash of the dam: Cream Special(1g) 13E. In the meantime my friend arrived at the basjoe while I was sampling my purchase. Before coming he stopped at Greenhouse where he Bought 1g of Manali Jungly cream for 18E and 1.4g of Kashmir for 10E at the Extase coffeeshop. We smoked few joints and then went to the Noon coffeeshop, that I like very much for the atmosphere nd of course for his weed. I bought 1g of Blueberry Silver Haze for 10E. It certainly worthed the money and I can say it was good but the taste of the SSH covered the Blueberry one in my opinion. We spent there 2 hours and smoked some joints. Then we decided to walk for a short trip to the De Pijp and stopped at Club Media where my friend Bought 1g of Ketama for 9E but we decided to walk to Katsu to stop and smoke. At Katsu I decided to buy 1.1g of Red Lebanese...what a lovely smoke,deep maroccan taste but softy on the throat,I'd reccomand it to ll you. And what a lovely place,very nice atmosphere. AFter smoking joints and getting stoned we decided to get a tram and to go to the hostel and chill for an hour. It was around 6PM when we decided to go to Homegrown Fantasy that was near the tram stop of the line 17 that will get us to Boerejongens. We bought 1g of Shiva at Hgf and then took the tram. We at Boerejongens and were sad to discover that they finished sanguna and many others strains. We bought 1g of Big Buddah Cheese and 1g of Boerejack that were respectively 10E and 6,5E/g. We took the tram to go back to the city centre 'cause the shop was buy'n'fly and walked to the Barney's where we stopped some hours and where I bought 1g of Utopia haze 14E that was really terrible.I have never been disappointed before with Brney's but this was really a terrible batch.The smell was good but tasted of nothing. than we went out lo look for a dinner and after that we decided to walk to The Amstel,one of my favourite places in the Dam. Went then to the Bushdoctor,the one in the Thorbeckplein and we bought two relly nice hashes 1g of Maroc Pollinator 12E an 1g of Sherazade 15E. The first is a sort of first threshing,very light colour,that became dust with a touch,very nice and soft taste. Sherazade as always been one of my fav hash ever and was sticky and fresh,very very very sweet,probably the sweetest hash I ever smoked. The Owner's of Bushdoctor are from our same city so whe relaxed there for an hour and the walked to the near Old Amsterdam coffeeshop,that was our last coffeeshop for the day. I was looking for the White cheese that wasn't in stock so we bought 1g of Chocolope for 12E, smoked a joint of it in, nice smoke but not amazing. Have to say there was a very nice and relaxing atmosphere. Then we decided to go back to the hostel 'cause we where fucking stoned and fell asleep in a moment
