Some questions - Newbbie.. :)

Hi,
In May 17th 'till the 24th i'm going to be in amsterdam
(!!!) can't wait!
I have a question about legal issue:
I understood that a coffe shop is authorized to sell 5gr of pot\hash,
So if i'm buying from one coffe shop then exit the place and go to another one, can I buy another 5gr? if I can, what would happen if a cop comes and make a routine check?
The 2nd ques is:
Can u please name the places where can I smoke has\pot?
(Like street, Hotel-room, Bar, Park, etc...)?

You can have up to an ounce on you.
A c.s can only sell you 5gm. at a time, but you can buy at as many shops as you like, just don't carry more than an oz. on you. ( why would you any way ? You should be smoking it .
)
Smoke in c.s., some parks, some hotels, some apartments,some bars.
Nes is a nice bar with a smoker friendly policy and a Volcano and VerDamper on the premises.

You can purchase up to 5 grams at once from each shop. The limit for possession is 30 grams I believe. I have never seen the police search anyone to see how much weed they have. You can smoke in your hotel room if they allow smoking. Vondelpark is great for a smoke on a warm summer day. It's an easy 30 minute walk from Dam Square. Smoking on the streets is usually frowned upon, I never had a problem late at night. There are several smoker friendly pubs around town, here is thread

hmmm i thought weed was tolerated,not legal in holland and that the personal limit was 5 g and that the official stock limit for a coffeeshop was 500 grams

There always seems to be some confusion about that, I'm pretty sure it was proved somewhere you could have the 30 grams on you but you're right about a coffeeshop only allowed to carry 500 grams of stock.
