Posting Question

First, thanks again for everyone so helpful on this forum. This will be my first trip and instead of asking a load of questions I sat back and read months of posts, so much thanks!

I do have a question, and maybe this is just asking for opinions, on posting goodies back home. I am packing light and will probably send some Beer mugs, glasses and a handful of souvenirs back as I will have no room in my luggage. My question is if I dropped a few bags wrapped well in a big box do you think this would make more, less or make no difference in having someone search the package?

I have heard small DVD envelopes work well as well as just a regular business size envelope. Maybe its too much of a risk and I should just enjoy while there. All thoughts are appreciated.

I don't think it would make any difference. I've attempted the same with no success. My guess is that a sniffer dog would not discriminate between a large or a small package.
