crazy stoners

I just ran across this www.msnbc.msn.com/id/36025681/ns/us_news-life all I could do was say wow. In a state where a paper cut will get you a medical marijuana card they are worried that making it legal will bring down the price of weed.

The growers of Humboldt county do have a legitimate concern about the market getting flooded with crappy commercial grade pot if weed becomes legal in California. I think that the idea of Humboldt becoming the Napa Valley of the cannabis scene would be a likely outcome if legalization occurs. A true cannabis connoseur knows that Humboldt is synonomous with high quality herb, and would pay top dollar with the name on the label. I've only bought weed from Humboldt once that I'm aware of and it was definitely top notch. The buds just sparkled with resin and had the most awesome smell of berries and candy, with a high that was super euphoric and trippy. The legalization of marijuana will definitely be a heaven sent for the casual smoker, but will definitely hurt the profits of the growers. That being said I don't think the growers of Humboldt should be too concerned because there are enough true connoseurs who know the difference between high quality herb and commercial grade crap and would be willing to pay higher prices for the Humboldt name.

its definitely gonna be interesting to see what happens if its legalised in Cali.

Personally I couldn't give a shit if growers make less profit because of it. Anyone making such complaints is obviously just growing to get rich, and doesn't care about cannabis or cannabis users. I'm sure many of them would actually prefer that it stayed prohibited.

Even if the market is flooded with basic quality weed, that can only be a good thing... weed is still weed!!! There will always be high grade around if people are still buying it.

Kind of like you can go in liquior store you can buy a commercially made cheap bottle of wine for 7 dollars or go in and get a more quaility aged wine for much more money

yeah if you are just looking to get drunk you get the 7 dollar bottle -- if looking for a good bottle of wine to drink and exprience you are gonna spend the extra money

if they open up the market e make it legal- they will be exposed to a whole varity of customers- sell more..

If I actually had the opportinity to "choose" my weed (which I usually don't just have to take what I can get) I'd greatfully pay more for better stuff that I could choose --- dude so looking forward to our first trip to DAM!!!
