i,ve managed to get my hands on a couple of bottles of poteen and was thinking of bringing them over for the 420 so we can have a special toast.

anyone whos going to 420 let me know what you think and ill get in touch with DC to see if its ok to bring them to NES

whats poteen? never heard of it in the UK

ahh i now see N.IRE and im thinking Poteen is how i would say porcheen. a Liquor made from potatoe. my mam is from donegal but thought it was spelt dif.

Just finished my last bottle. I'm in gix. .
First night of our hols last year (rhodes,greece) and the restuarant owner heard my girl talking and was like "Irish? want some poteen? We said yeah to call his bluff, so out comes an old bottle of grant's vodka. Ok, yer not lying sez i...... gonna be a long night.

ill maybe throw some brandy balls in 1 of the bottles,,just to flavour it for people not used to it

That's one thing i never got round to trying when i was in Ireland, so would be great to say i have tasted it. I have to say i'm not hopeful though, being more of a beer drinker than spirits, but you never know...it may go down a treat and have me dancing to the Leidseplein

only problem i can see is ,, im only taking hand luggage,so dont know if i can take in onto the plane,,,,so plan B ,, i could post it to DC then it will deffo be there for us

lol Ya wont get them on the plane, you'll have to post them if ya want them. Luckily I don't drink it or that could've meant trouble for me.
