You all are so lucky - just hop on a plane and a few hours you are in another country with lots of different flavors - geography - foods - cultures... cheap flights too!!

I get on a plane to fly somewhere cheap ... florida or an island that all basically look "feel" the same... arg... so jelouse!!

I think if I lived out there I'd have some kind of yearly rail pass and travel everywhere I could!!

You wouldn't want to travel the UK via train, dirty smelly things that cost a fortune and dont run on time/if at all.

The Pacific Coast Highway is a Beautiful trip to take .
Last time I took it was on my motor cycle about 15 years ago.
Haven't made it in the car yet, am looking forward to it.

If I play my cards right, I'll be kicked back in the passenger seat rolling doobies, and choosing the Tunage.
I'm thinking the Doors would be a great soundtrack....

My favourite holiday destination i have been (other than Amsterdam) was Jamaica...i think the obvious reasons helped.
I would like to visit more of Europe though. I have 3 close friends living in other European countries who i would love to visit....one has just moved to Estonia, so i am hoping to go there if she decides to stay permanently.

A lot of the South East trains seem to have been replaced the last couple of years, and are actually really clean and new looking (how long that will last i don't know)....but i agree on the price!! Even when i had a student discount card i could have driven most places cheaper with the petrol money.
