do you get more??? We get 1/8 out here so sometimes I have a hard time picturing how big an oz is - i know based on how heavy ,, but still can't piture - photos are great but usually don;t get actual size unles they put a coin or something next to it for comparison

an ounce is 8 times bigger than 1/8 hence the name. Eight of them make up an ounce.

an ounce is as near as makes absolutely no difference to 28 grams. weed is sold in grams in the dam, but Grey Area actually sells eighths! which weigh in at 3.5 grams.

although tbh you sound stoned enough to have smoked a j with a q in it

a nice big pure joint for sharing will take a full gram, but you can roll them as thick or thin as long or short as suits you so yes you can get two joints from a gram, its all personal preference and choice about how stoned you wanna get and how much you usually need to get that stoned.

This monster cone that we rolled up in Haarlem in april of 08 had various weeds and hashes in it and still only held 4-5 grams at most and it took 5-6 hard core smokers to finish it.

honestly there are all sorts of tokers on here, some people smoke relatively "lightly" and others toke what would seem obscene amounts to some. its all good and there is certainly no correct or incorrect amount to smoke. but tbh most people toke a little harder while spoiled for choice on their holiday in the dam!

many here for example being european mix with tobacco so probably smoke less per joint but more joints overall (maybe). top tip btw if buying pre-rolled in amsterdam know that by default they contain tobacco so ask for a pure one if you go that way.

since an eighth is 3.5g you can figure out how much you put in by knowing approx how many you get from your eighth. or weigh one of your spliffs if you have a scales. i imagine that your thin spliffs probably do contain approx a half gram?

n2dd, I usually get three joints to the gram when I'm in the dam. I roll a single paper joint no filter, 1960's style ,. Some of the bags are a little over or under a gram depending were you buy. BlueBird has fix price 12.50 euro bags, the weight varies with the strain. Buy a gram roll three joints smoke two save one for bed time go to next coffee shop buy a gram smoke two now your mate has one for bed time, next coffee shop start saving for your wake and bake, there is a pattern developing here. Have fun.
