Whats that phrase, preaching to the choir...Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:It's like any other drug you buy in a club, neck it and hope for the best. Jeez, pills are cut to fuck with fuck knows what, it's just as risky as that man. Bottom line, if you're going to do certain drugs there is a risk if you do too much you're going to be in trouble. Watch your dose, better, ask a friend who's not on it to watch your dose. Stick to a low amount first time, and if you feel like things are fucking up really bad don't be scared to ask for help and for fuck sake tell the truth about what you've been putting in your body that night.
I get pissed off at all this ' it isn't safe so ban it' stuff. People are going to do it, there aren't studies atm on it, but that is not a cause to end the discussion. With shit like this it's a pragmatic solution that is needed, and since the Government and upcoming Tory leaders aren't going to want to do the sensible thing and legalise, regulate and educate then people have to follow the advice that one would follow when taking any other substance that they haven't taken before. Be careful, have a sober party there to keep an eye on you and ask for help if you need to.
EDIT : DoobyDave, i realise im coming dangerously close to echoing your POV.
UK to be spared the evil of mephedrone

never taken it & probably never will, those 2lads that died a couple weeks back had also take methadone & alcohol aswell as methadrone, surely the methadone & alcohol mix is more dangerous, but the sun, mail, mirror, telegraph e.t.c wernt interested in that, they aimed their cannons at methadrone & fired, & as usual the pussys in government wanted to seem like theyre tough on drugs (funny how that always come up before elections
) so they jumped on the bandwagon & criminalized it, they were in a win win situation, if the drugs advisors called for a ban, they would claim that they had sorted out the David Nutt situation if the advisors said a ban was not nesesery then they would ban it anyway & look like angels in the eyes of the media who absolutely despise the Drugs Advisory council (apart from the independant), its all bullshit, you can legally be sent to a war zone @ the age of 18, but your not allowed to go to your local club & pop a pill

There was no info regarding E in the late 80's, but we still took a bucket load.Marco wrote: With things like MDMA there is plenty of really good research out there on its effects, benefits, dangers, etc. Not so with meow.
I think this is the usual overkill that happens every time someone comes up with a new recipie.
E was also not made in China by random chemists. I won't touch any food from China, much less plant food masquerading a drugs. To each his own, i would hope people value their lives more than that, regardless of its legality. For goodness sakes, you can get the purest stuff in Amsterdam, wait for a visit here rather than take your life in hour own hands. peaceOslodunc wrote:There was no info regarding E in the late 80's, but we still took a bucket load.Marco wrote: With things like MDMA there is plenty of really good research out there on its effects, benefits, dangers, etc. Not so with meow.

PS: there was research on MDMA in the 80s, google Alexander Shuglin.

So people should take their chances with pills made up by a Dutch amateur chemist instead, 'cos that's not putting their life in others hands?E was also not made in China by random chemists. Defeating evil with a thing called love
They are not amateur, and there are complete and through testing opportunities in Amsterdam, both with EZ and in local testing centers.Sir Niall of Essex-sire wrote:So people should take their chances with pills made up by a Dutch amateur chemist instead, 'cos that's not putting their life in others hands?E was also not made in China by random chemists. Not to mention, people do know their sources here.
