Hey!
Off to Adam next week for a few days, and wondered if anyone has any experience of using the P+R at Amsterdam Arena...?
How easy is it to get into town after parking the car?
Thanks =)
Park & Ride, Amsterdam
I used P&R last year, not sure which one it was either.
I just remember pronouncing the train station as slot er dick
It was well cheap at 6 euros I think and got the missus and2 kids on the train to CS.
It's be the same this week, I will be driving about like a maddie getting stressed trying to find it again

Done the P+R many times now, the best and closest to Dam Central is the Olympic Stadium.
Try this link for more information, they are all very busy on Saturday. http://www.amsterdam.info/parking/park-ride/ or Google it!
Free Bike or return tram ticket, tram is right outside and no more than 10 minutes to city centre. I’m more or less a local now but would never consider taking my car into the City when the P+R is so cheap and on the tram line.
Beware the one you mentioned is not very secure and theft from foriegn cars is a major issue out here.
Take a TomTom and just put in the address from the web site -easy.
Failing that you could always try Haarlem, the hotels are better value and only 10 minutes from Dam by train. They also have a P+R as it is not much cheaper to park in any major Dutch city
