1: I think the first trip was in 2003, with an old school friend for two or three nights, we visited, Route 99, Rock it, Goa, Red Light bar, excalabar, Rookies, one of the Bulldogs in the Red light district, Greenhouse central. had a hash milk shake from the Old Church, wow, it was amazing, went to the Red light bar! Took Mexican mushrooms and played pool in Route 99,when the mushroom kicked in then went to a cafe on Dam square where we could not stop laughing and tried to order our food. A wicked trip don't really remember what I smoked, I know I had some White Widow, Super Silver Haze. Purple Haze from Rookies. Did not try any hash. Also went to Hieineken Experience, two sex shows one being crap and one being good, Torture Museum, hash Museum, Cannabis college and vondel park. On our first day we got mugged in the red light district, we came out of coffeeshop and were wasted and did not have our wits about us, but a learning curve in life.
2: I visit my girlfriend who was doing a uni course in DenBosch near Eindhoven. We visit a coffee shop in DenBosch you got your smoke in little clear boxes and when you collected five you got free gram! Took a trip to Dam for two days and went to sex museum, Ann Frank house. I visited Route 99, Barney's and few others, Tried some hash, but got the fear once we were on the streets then had a bed picnic with loads of joints and Dutch cheese.
3: Went on a cycling tour with an old school friend the chap in the first trip, we got the a boat from Harwich to Hook of Holland, we rode to a Campsite near Den Haag a few hundred meters back from the beach. Visited Den Haag went to two coffeeshops, The Game, it was upstairs, had pinball and games machines, we brought Thia my friend finds the Skunk too much, Koffie en Dromen, it was small, modern and loud dance music (not my thing) we got some stuff called Bubbles had one smoke and found selves high for a good few hours we visited an old prison museum. For the rest of the trip we camp near Den Haag, had smokes on the beach watching the fishing boats and sun setting each evening.
We took a day to trip to Gouda(when we were riding in Gouda main street area I bird decided do a poo and it landed on my head and I have long hair!I should of warm my cycling helment) ,we cycled out to a village called Oudewater, were there is a Witch weighing house. A must see if you are in the area. Went to Rotterdam, I was not really impressed with Rotterdam, too new, i enjoy the old dutch buildings. Went to one coffee shop, had a massive leather couch and full of locals, we had to be buzzed in. We also went to a Sushi bar and museum. Also had a day trip to Lieden to see some castles visited on coffeeshop. We had to take a day trip to Dam too, went to Route 99 and few others in the central area, popped back to the old church and had weed milk shake and we felt nothing, we were not too impressed...boo. We brought some Columbian mushrooms from a shop in the centre of Den Haag, had them on the beach watching the sunset, it was a wild night, lots of wicked tripping and giggles! 'I saw the moon give birth to a new moon which danced around it!!' over all an excellent trip cool to see other places in Holland and was brilliant to do some cycling over there.
