road trips..
well didn't think this would fit in th trip report section as its not amsterdam related so im putting this here.
as a few of you know and most dont iv been on the road for the last month. rented what we call here in north america an "rv"(recreational vehicle). shes 30 feet long and sleeps like 7. its been a great trip. i started in seattle and drove down the i5 till oregon before switching to mainly 101 and california hw 1. for anyone visiting north america i HIGHLY reccomend this route because its just beautiful. mountains, gorgeous beaches, the giant redwoods, etc. its about a 1700m drive from seattle to la so reserve some time. anyway im making this post so when i get home i can post some pics here. im in crescent city, ca now and have 4 days till i get home. its been a long month and iv driven over 2000 miles so far. i got to meet some friends near la where i bought some of the best and cheapest og and bubba kush iv ever had. spent hrs in their house taking bong snap after bong snap. they were even using tobacco. anyways as i said will post the pics in a few days. hopefully will add some more in the next 4 days as well
on a somewhat disappointing note i had a goal on this trip of going to the airplane boneyard in the mojave and hotboxing the business class bathroom of a klm 747. didn't happen haha.

I'm very interested in this. I've recently been looking into and costing up a trip to somewhere west coast USA. Somewhere around California. Only done very light research at the moment but thinking somewhere hot and sunny in Jan-Feb next year. It's either here or I've been looking at Goa (India) still doing lots of research at the moment....all part of the fun.

That sounds brilliant m8, have always wanted to tour parts of the states in a big ol' RV - so much to see there and that looks like the best way to see a lot of it - be a bit like easy rider but in a camper van LOL Theres a comedy programme we used to have over here in the UK called 'Max and Paddys Road to Nowhere' it was about 2 fellas bumming around the UK in a camper van and getting into adventures, i think the main character said something similar.
PS: My sister went cycling round San Fran last month with some of her friends and she said it was a great city for 2 wheels.

^^^talking of Les Dawson and bikes^^^
That reminds me of one of his jokes.
Les Dawson said - 'I'm so lazy, I ride my bike of cobblestones to knock the ash off my cigarette'
(I guess he needs to tell that one)

He could make me laugh without even doing anything with his facial expressions and perfect comedy timing.LesDawson wrote:Had forgot all about that one Trance! Oh, he's so badly missed!!!! Man was a Leg end!
