Accommodation For Group of 5

Hi All,

I am taking a trip with some friends at the end of May for my stag do and really struggling for ideas.

Originally we wanted an apartment, we found 2 houseboats that seemed perfect but as soon as we requested the dates, they came back as unavailable.Even though the dates were clearly free on the site calender before submitting.Our trip is only going to be for 2 nights, which leads me to think they prefer longer stays so were maybe just saying it was booked in order to hold out for 'better business'.

Anyway, now we're broadening our options a bit and are open to the idea of hostels, lets face it we are not intending to be at the accommodation much apart from at night once everything has shut. Looking at the obvious like Bulldog, I am not sure if it is exactly what we are looking for.

Criteria:
Accommodates 5
Centrally located
smoker friendly
well priced
bar or games room (not essential)

Can anyone help and point me in the right direction?

a lot of the hotels and hostels have dorm rooms,,,check out the booking section

The Winston might be able to accommodate you... great location too as it's very close to the RLD and as you're on a stag do, I guess that's pretty high on the agenda!

I've never stayed there myself but know someone that has and he loves the place!

Yeah the Winston is cool i have stayed there alot , cool crowd ! The Globe over at the RLD might be a choice ? it really depends on what your after ? if its just somewhere to crash/change/shower then The Globe , The Crown any wee hostel that does private rooms aswell as dorms !
