A little about me - my name is Paul, from Glasgow and i've been going to the Dam for about 16 years. I've been loads of times, but tend to stick to the places I know and like. Probably my 2 favourite coffeeshops are Mellow Yellow for the nostalgia aspect, as it was the first CS I ever tried on my first trip way back when. My other favourite is Hill St Blues (Warmoestraat), which was recommended to me and has been my "local" since that very first visit. I love the deals in this place, and sitting in one of their comfy couches at the back, with the doors open and the view of Damrak, always makes me feel as if I am home
I'm gonna try a few others this time, definitely Tweedy down at the Vondelstraat as it is just round the corner from our hotel, the Abba (thanks Stoner, for your post on another thread highlighting this
) and Amnesia, as it seems to get good reviews and is a nice area that me and the g/f will probably be spending a good bit of time in.Thanks for reading, if anyone wants to know more, fire away
