Strain Location Advice

Post by BIG POPPA PROPA »

Hi Guys....

Am going Dam in a few weeks time and just want some info....

I have been dam 25+ times and am well versed where everything is shop wise, etc.....

But its been over a year since my last trip, and the strains have obviously changed over time....

Last time i went the Kush strains had begun to take dominance in most of the top shops but i felt they were lacking in both smell and taste when compared to the more established Diesel and Haze hybrids.

So this time round i hope that the Kush lines are right up there.....

Also would like to kno peoples opinion on my personal favourite starins and where the best places are to go for them....

My Top 5 strains i need to find best examples of

1. NYC Diesel (or any diesel hybrid, red, sour, etc....)
2. Kush (again any hybrid, OG, Pink, etc.....)
3. Super Lemon Haze (greenhouse i think but just wanna kno)
4. Black Widow (heard very good things about this)
5. Any new Haze varieties that are worth a look

Please guys help a fellow connoisseur sift thru the endless garbage in the city.

Also wheres the best place to have a pint with your smoke, as i know these are few and far between...

Cheers for taking the time to read this and post a reply.....

1. NYC Diesel (or any diesel hybrid, red, sour, etc....) <- hunters
2. Kush (again any hybrid, OG, Pink, etc.....) <- katsu
3. Super Lemon Haze (greenhouse i think but just wanna kno) <- never found any good? greenhouse has it, but i'd avoid them
4. Black Widow (heard very good things about this) <- katsu once more
5. Any new Haze varieties that are worth a look <-- quaze/equatorial sativa/quasar haze/dr grinspoon either bluebird, hunters, barneys, and so on...

Cheers will defo check them all out...

Have heard about Quasar Haze - wheres the best place for that then...

Super Lemon Haze - I had a little batch from a friend, it was really nice stuff, just thought the Dam might have a superior example, maybe not :(

Will defo be heading to Katsu, i'm ashamed to say in all my times in the Dam i have never visited Katsu, despite hearing numerous reports of its excellent weed.....

I think i remember seeing a Menu circa 2002-04, which had Golden Haze listed, probably long gone by now tho!!!

What about Metal Haze?? would like to track that down too....

katsu has some of the best herbs in town at a reasonable price.

apparently the quaze is the same all over, so just go for the best price. i think blue bird does it for about 15€ while barney charges 17€ for theirs.
blue bird is pre weighed though...

if you like hazes, katsu is again a recommendation with the nl haze, sphaze haze, sage etc. black widow is another great strain, but not a haze ;)

I happen to have just returned from Amsterdam:

NYC Diesel
=> go strait to Hunter´s! The other strains called NYCD at the moment aren´t worth trying!
Kush
=> many Kushes out there. I´m not a fan of the indica strains but I liked the Vanilla Kush from Popeye´s.
Super Lemon Haze
=> I tried the one from Greenhouse and was a bit disappointed. Last year their quality was impressing, right now it´s just average...
G13 Haze
=> The G13 I bought at Amnesia´s was the best haze smoke this trip. It really impressed me. Fresh hazy taste and hell of a buzz... ;-)

I love diesel it's been my fave strain since about 2005 and I can honestly say Basjoes was the stinkiest and quite possibly the best diesel I've ever had.
