Nats are allowing six flights out of Manchester airport today according to the bbc.
I don't want to jinx it but I reckon that the 2.30pm announcement might bring news of a change in the situation for tomorrow or Sunday. I hope so anyway. Best not to get our hopes up just yet.

My KLM flight itinerary doesn't say anything about my flight being cancelled so I have no idea what to do right now. I'm planning as if my flight will stil land over there @ 8AM Saturday but who knows what'll happen when I get to the airport.

I haven't contacted my hotel yet either.

Jeez, talk about a dream turning into nightmare very quickly.

Man I am rooting for you guys. I know how devastated I would be if it were my trip. I really hope this figuratively and literally "blows over" I want you guys to punish the volcano's there for all this once you get there!

Southampton airport is still closed, no flights today, will be reveiwed again later today. Tomorrows flights up until 1pm will most probaably be effected as could the rest of Saturday.

Praying this clears up for Monday morning, please fuck off!!!

Thinking of all the people that have already had flights cancled, or plans disrupted. My dad was meant to be going to St Lucia tomorrow, not a happy chappy.
