4/20 Begins... No Eruption!

Blueberry, hestia and I are sitting here in Popeye's right now smoking some Pink Kush and it's 'dam' good. hestia went to 3 of the shops today and received totally positive responses! The shops were Basjoe, HGF, & Green Place.

We have sampled some LA Confidential from Basjoe and it rocks, I bought 5 grams. Grabbed some Terminator as well and had a nice party with DirtyUncleRon. We consecutively agreed it deserved a 9/10.

The Dr Grinspoon was excellent at Barney's since we landed at 6 am and that was the only thing open, of course we stopped. I truly enjoyed it, but 1 gram will set you back 17 euro. Gave it 8/10 but expensive.

BB got some Red Cherry Berry which was nice smelling, burned well but we gave it a 7/10.

Tried the Super Lemon Haze at Green House. It had a nice lemony flavor and provided a good punch. We gave it a 7.5/10.

Nice start IG. Good to hear some shops are expecting a hoard soon enough

Yeah the volcano is disrupting flights for a couple of days by the sound of it, hopefully it doesn't affect too many from here. I think positive thoughts will make things ok for monday, and i will nail a volcano vapo for the pure irony!!

Can't wait to try the terminator!

Not to be mean or have bad karma to all the guys trying to get to the 420 celebration, but I definately noticed it was The Stoner CHICKS that made it before the Volcano spewed!

Good point Lem. Can you move it or do I need to? Here's the rest before I forget:

We continued to Amnesia and got milkshakes mmmmmmmm BB and I got strawberry and hestia had the chocolate. Excellent milkshake and it made me feel like John Travolta when he played Vincent Vega in Pulp Fiction "I wanna know what a fuckin $5.00 milkshake tastes like!" Well... I do now. hestia went to her hotel and we went on to the bike rental place, I busted my (_]_) immediately. Now I know why I hated it as a kid. BB said "Once you learn how to ride a bike, my ass!" That shit ain't true and I'm living proof. My bicycle riding days are over before they ever began. From now on I'm sticking to feet and convertibles.

Went to Popeye's... hestia was already there and that's when I wrote the above. Next because we had been traveling so long, hadn't eaten much, and had the major munchies, we left there and went to the Burger Bar - OMGOSH!!!! I had the small black angus loaded with cheddar, mushrooms, grilled onions and it had this special sauce that was a mixture of mayo with mustard and other things... one word - YUM! All 3 of us devoured it like savages and now BB wants one because we're talking about it lol

Highly recommended and had homemade fries to boot, we watched the guy slicing 'em. Collective 10/10.

After eating we went to DeKuil, I got some NYCD but haven't tried it yet. We told the budtender we would be there again this year and he put his face over his eyes like "Oh shit it's gonna be crowded" and then proceeded to laugh when I said "If I were you, I'd take the day off." He said he remembered us and was nice about the toke and talk.

Hunter's was AWESOME! I bought a gram of Amnesia Haze and hestia bought a gram of Dark Star. It was very good because I rolled a joint of the AH and we didn't need it... guess you can tell who wins the fastest rolling contests (psst it's not me or hestia).

Hunter's was SO accommodating as was Basjoe. I love those coffeeshops. James was there and being his usual, wonderful self. Gave me a big hug when he saw me and as usual I wanted the strongest he had, which happened to be what hestia was smoking. I went to the counter and he game me almost 2 gramsof free LA Confidential when I hadn't even bought a thing yet. Ended up buying a gram of Terminator and 5 grams of LA Conf. All of us shared the terminator, including James.

The guy at Hunter's was very welcoming also and gave us all drinks when we told him of the up and coming toke and talks. We of course bought some weed there and will buy more because of his wonderful attitude. Hunter's grandmother (I think it was) died and he had to go away fora bit so he wasn't there, but the Australian dude behind the counter was as nice as could be.

All three of us parted ways; Ann and I walking, BB on her bike as usual. I went to AH, bought some munchies and trammed it home. BB went to AH, bought some munchies and biked it home. We were exhausted from a long day and she's falling asleep as I type this. Now that I think about it, so am I. See y'all tomorrow here when possible and sure hope y'all can make it... I'll be praying!
