Islandgirl, I have to say, that this line has had me cracking up ALL morning:

" I was quite taken aback when I saw it, said "Butter my butt and call me a biscuit!" and almost did the Snoopy Dance. Waited my turn, but grabbed that sumbitch and rode it like a champ when I had the chance."

Brilliant, and hilarious.

Ride it like a champ,

Amy

IG - that is a bee-you-tiful doob you are toking on. In my dreams!!! Maybe someday we'll meet and hang out. The stoner chicks sound awesome! So do all the nice ACD'ers you met at 420.

And being an avid photographer, I love the clear and close up shots of all the partying and 'acarrying on!
I talked it over with my Mr last night, and we are going to be coming for 4-20 2011 !!!
How fortunate for you geeky! Grateful husband turns 50 next year so maybe....
Could we ever feel much finer?

I'll be back in the Dam in just a few short days and I can hardly contain my excitement!

IG- I can't stay away from Amsterdam either. It's literally my favorite place in the world. We will probably be back sometime during the fall/winter but My husband's schedule is really up in the air for that period, so it'll probably be a last-minute trip. If you let me know when you are going and that might be a good reason to head up. I can just tell we will have a blast!

I'm already thinking about how to have a dinner party or brunch or BBQ for the ACD during the 4-20 festivities. Mmmm more weed pairings. Got to find an apartment with a decent kitchen...

Peace,

Amy

Miss geeky, i am very intrigued by your posts. I too am a gourmand and am curious about your couplings of weed with food. As to your plans for Thai I wonder about combinations of chiles versus weed. What if you did a nice blistering opening to the meal and then knocked it down with a mild kush? Endorphines meet THC. Tom Kaa with extra kick maybe? then go into coco emulsified main. Just a thought. PLEASE keep me posted

Okay we tried this out at hestia's last night. She chose the food, I chose the weed compliments and we smoked each one before the course:

Salad with fresh greens, cucumbers, and tomatoes & green peppers from her garden - paired with NYCD

Main Course of fried chicken, homemade macaroni & cheese with Dutch Gouda & Edam cheeses, biscuits with homemade honey butter, cantaloupe, cherries (all to die for) - paired with LA Confidential

Dessert of German Chocolate cake filled with whipped cream in the middle - paired with Sour Grape

After Dinner Cop Shots (Old Genever chased with Heineken) - Paired with IG Kush and Terminator

It was GREAT fun and we should definitely do this next 420!!! :D :D Weird how the herbs truly suited the foods...

Yay yay yay! It's makes me so happy that you tried this.

The meal sounds amazing. (Go Hestia!) and your weed pairings seem right on. In fact, I give the pairing of the diesel and the salad a thumbs-up, at least in my mind.

I can see how the oily components in the Diesel would almost add another layer of "dressing" to the salad.

We found it (weed and food pairing) incredibly fun too. We shall have to have a stoner chicks weed feast as part of the 420 festivities. I'll host. Seriously, I can't wait to meet you.
Because life is too short to smoke bad bud.
