i mean in terms of getting rid of smell in your room, not to carry through customs!

I open all of my windows and draws in my room and even my dresser. The I get some scented candles or a scented stick and let it de-funkify my room :P

But I mostly just leave it. I'm a clean freak, so my room is clean and normally smells OK, and the weed smell goes away in a few hours. But if I have people coming over I just open all the windows and get some scented candles in. The colder it is outside, the better.

If you have a fan and window, put the fan right infront of your window and point the fan outside towards your opened window and smoke and exhale smoke into or around the fan that's pointed towards your opened window. The fan pointed in this direction will extract your smoke outside. You can see it happen yourself, if you're smoking right near your fan in that position. You'll see the smoke you exhale going right through the fan and towards the window.

Also, I would use incense and candles while doing this to cover up even more. Even after you're done smoking, try to keep the window open and fan pointing outside towards the window for as long as possible.

..avoid the indoor weed strains for starters, a bit of cheese will stink a room out for a day or two after its been smoked, outdoor weed and hashes only stinks for a few hours - in other words preventative medicine!

Try the plug in scent things, they are efficient and controllable and can be left on when you are out. Incense is cool but very obvious and stinks more than the weed...

I rely on the plug in ones for my landlord inspections, and I have to lay off the buds for a few days prior ...

My last resort trick is to fry something, that smell overpowers temporarily the skunk fumes..

Nice tips tb. I'll have to remember that last one -- bacon should do the trick methinks.

I've heard of a trick, but haven't tried it.

Apparently you take a piece of tube, something like the cardboard inner roll from some aluminium foil or cling wrap. Then you take some material like kitchen paper and stuff it into the tube.

If you exhale through these devices its supposed to reduce the smell a lot. Again, I haven't done this so you should do a bit more research if you decide to try it...

Here are some better examples:

Apparently theres an inexpensive device you can but for aroung £50 caled a deioniser, it works by sitting unobrosivly on a table or whatever silently drawing in air from the room and deionising any particles it takes in and blowing them out again', its very low wattage.
Supposedly those minute particles which constitute smoke and thus smell,--- in their deionised form are then heavier than air, and they fall to the floor, thus diminishing the smell within a room.they then lie there until vacuumed up in the course of normal housekeeping.

This gadget works just as well for cooking smells and also if you are a grower keeps down the smell of weed which can permeate the atmosphere.----look it up--google it--maybe this would help

air purifier's are awsome they suck in all the smoke and dirty air, filters it through water and you can add diffrent sents to it. that and one of them plug in things and the windows open is what i do.

Filling a cardboard tube with dryer sheets and blowing the smoke through works.

Yo Bilbo
never heard of anyone actually perceiving any benefit from deionisers, personally I think they are a bit of a white elephant...good concept and all that....my hippy mum tried out these some years back, waste of time alas...opening a window would be better than one of these I suspect :(

Spoof - Cardboard tube from paper towels or toilet paper, stuff with dryer sheets. Only works with a bowl or bong. Take a huge hit, nic the cherry in the bowl til it goes out. Exhale through tube.

Window fan- Good idea just make sure you put a pillow to cover the open window space next to the fan or it will create an intake right next to your exhaust.

Turn off the AC! Air Conditioning will circulate the smell fast as a cheetah.

The Bacon Idea is solid too. I always fry up some bacon after I make brownies or caps to cover the smell in the kitchen.
