is it hell to get from a Vondelpark apartment into centrum?

HI folks, anyone ever stayed this far out, on the west side of Vondelpark itself, literally overlooking the park, the apartment looks great and is reasonable so if I book it Ill let you all know afterwards but is it really hard to get into centrum from that side of Vondelpark or is it easy peasy, I have not a clue..anyone know? Dont mind a tram or two but anything more than that may faze me when Im mashed

About a 15-20 min stroll thru the park to leidseplein, then tram or walk. Centraal would be another 25mins ish. Or you could get the #1 tram round the corner on Overtoom. good luck.

Great location, the 1 tram is a straight shot into the center.

^^that was certainly true last may. 10e/g if i remember right. I didn't think much of the shop itself though.

Nice one man. Guess i've drank in many a bar with a similar vibe. Might have to drop by for a gram or two of sticky if, a)- i get there, and b)- weather stays nice enough for a flop into the park. Be cool if you could make it marco, now you're a regular.

Moved across town, so have not been in there since last summer...but if you are in the Westerpark, give me a shout.

I never really liked the place that much, Tweedy, but it was the closest to my house. Peace

Thanks for the tweedy Temple Ball tip, I love my new apartment already...that is my closest by the look of it and to walk in and grab a bit of TB whilst there is as good as it gets, cheers chaps

I was staying out at Overtoom , sure its a 10-15mns walk or so into Centrum but as Marco said the no1 tram is super handy ! i popped into Tweedy on Tues cant remember if they had TB ?
