Why do u prefer hash to weed or vice versa?

For me:
...buds are the bread and hash is the cake.
...a good piece of hashish is always like a good wine. It´s all about taste.
...Hashish is a special product like cheese. It combines man´s work and craftsmanship and mother nature´s best.
...In a special moment hashish is the cherry on top of the cream.
...good hash is only replacable by more good hash.

I think I just haven't had the right Hash. It all has tasted the same and been the same high. Buds on the other hand have so many differences between them that you can like many different ones.

2 weeks ago i would have said hash no competition. now though for me i'd say its 50/50. i like to roll one up and seeing as i dont like to use much tobacco in joints i cant do that with hash.....unless iv got some weed.

I've only ever had home-made Aussie hash and that wasn't very good. I like my weed very potent - I like to get absolutely HAMMERED - so I anticipate that I might like hash as much or more when I have quality product in Amsterdam.

If someone offered me with weed or hash on the street, I'd always take the weed, only because I know it's the worst kind of hash. I'm sure after Amsterdam my mind will change.

I actually have. I use a coffee grinder to grind my weed, and one night when my girlfriend and I were hammered at my place (my sister was away for the weekend - woohoo!), we grinded about a quarter up, used a clean brush to collect all the thc, then used a hot knife and some zip-lock plastic bags to press it. Wasn't bad. We smoke it all, then stayed up till 6am smoking the left-over weed in the grinder while watching most of Lost season 1 (which trips you the f*** out when you're stoned, great show though!)

I watched a video yesterday, where either D or A ( from DnA Genetics ) said he is exclusivley a resin head now. Well, if thats not reason enough to quit smoking Hash forever, then I dunno what is

For the record, I'll smoke either, and happily.
If it comes to hash though, I prefer the Imports over the Bubbles etc. In my opinion, there is so much more flavour in the import hashes than the generic coffeeshop Ice-o's.
If that means I dont appreciate the 'cleaner' aspect of smoking pot, then so be it. I'm certainly not a pot snob.

I've always prefered buds, smells and tastes better, on inspection you can tell if it's quality or not and also it somehow feels more natural if that makes any sense!

But in saying that, i've only had hash in the uk which is pretty much always crap ( has layers of cling film in it or is weak ) and it often gives me a really bad chest ( mixed with diesel and other crap)

Next time I go to the dam i'm def gonna try the mexi Ice on ftcarers recommendation!

Not necessarily, what you are referring to is soapbar. There are in fact 'some' quantities of very high quality hash to be found in the uk, get talking to african communities as often this is all they like to smoke. I often get lucky with some seriously good hash round my way, is it out there for the smoking - you just gotta find it!

GDM, I totally agree with you. Perhaps I shouldn't have made such a broad generalisation based on my experiences . I'm familiar with the term soapbar but wasn't sure if it was a term used by us Brits only! I have also had some decent hash but unfortunately 75% of what I've managed to acquire has been pretty rubbish. Maybe I've just been unlucky

I still prefer bud though!

it used to be hash for me years ago when weed was expensive and poor quality....then the whole thing changed in the uk in the early 90's with piss poor hash flooding the market and better bud....i'm not into smoking bitumen,plastic etc so now only clean organic suits me.....even better is homegrown,grown organically and with love which means no chems/contamination for me......but my choice
