I refuse to admit that there is an active volcano tha can totally screw our plans. Denial won't help, i know, but what can any of us do? Eat more sprouts??

The sign is made. The time is nearly upon us.

The ring, Frodo, the ring!

Operation "Desert Rat" is a success. Made it from one desert to another in record time. Waiting in Kuwait at present and hopefully I'll be leaving on a red eye @ 0215 and arrive in the Dam at 1035. Now I just need to find a hotel until Wed. Woohoo!

Big thanks to all who attended: TAK, Newbie & Hubby, and Marco the Lurker. It was great to meet everyone!

Basjoe was closed for the day, but no worries, TAK put up a sign directing all to Bagheera next door. Highly Blessed and company run a nice comfy shop which we occupied for a cheery couple of hours.

Afterwards, Marco the Lurker and I searched out and enjoyed Hunters. Great 'tenders, great gear, felt at home right away.

Wife and I are back home, exhausted, with head colds, and smiles that just won't go away!

Wish i could do this twice a year. :D

Peace and Friendship,
