It is how a CS should be....a normal part of the neighborhood. Lovely place, great apple tart :D

And 5 euros a gram for lovely outdoor Hindu Kush can't be beat.

lovely place indeed ... and the apple tart is amongst the best in amsterdam imho

i think yo-yo is a great place to take friends who don't smoke because it so light and airy and the front space has a high ceiling

What is the difference (perceivable to the consumer) of outdoor and indoor weed?

Yo-Yo sounds great though, might have to check it out on my first trip.

open to correction but i think outdoor weed is not as strong, no intense hot lamps growing it so the high is a little smoother and mellow than the same strain would be if it was grown quicker indoors under laamps

Yes, you will be fairly close to DePijp from the Leidseplein. If you cross the Singlegracht on Leidsestratt, turn left on Stadouderskade. Walk past the Rijksmuseum to Ferdinand Bolstratt, turn right (you will see the Heineken Bldg on that corner. Walk about 4 blocks to Albert Cuypstratt, turn left, you will be walking through the Albert Cuyp market; lots of Vendors and activity. Keep walking up to Hemonysratt, turn right. Then go 2 more blocks to 2e Van der Heijdensratt, YO YO is on the left hand corner.
If you look below the Directory Map, in the Other Maps section, click the DePijp Map, it will show you the lay out of the area. There are a lot of other good shops in that area like De Grawl (shown as Chai on that map), Katsu, Media, Kabouter, and Papillion to name a few. Yo Yo is well worth the walk, it's one of my favorite shops. Enjoy!
