What are...
... leaves and tippies?
I have been reading some CS reviews and a few mention that you get leaves and tippies for free. What is this, please?
Thanks =)

Actually, it only us North Americans that roll joints without the tips.rolling papers and little pieces of cardboard (?) that go in the end of joint when rolling to hold like a roach clip.
Mainly a U.K. think, but lots of Americans have adopted it.
Every European/Aussie/Kiwi/Asian Toker I have ever met rolls joints with the tips.

everyone is better off to use proper filters not just paper roaches, cuts the tar intake down very dramatically, at first you think youre not getting as much thru, buts its all in the mind, theres just less of a hit at the back of the throat. When you see how much tar they collect youll be glad you use em...

Again, that not an issue for North Americans as we, typically, smoke weed pure. (The idea of mixing tobacco and weed is abhorent to most of us. As in "Yuck what a way to wreck a good toke")everyone is better off to use proper filters not just paper roaches, cuts the tar intake down very dramatically, at first you think youre not getting as much thru, buts its all in the mind, theres just less of a hit at the back of the throat. Also cannabinoids (Chiefly THC) have been shown to to have anti-carcinogenic effects on the lungs, so, when smoking pure, I have no worries.

Surely though, some of the THC is being filtered out?templeball wrote:everyone is better off to use proper filters not just paper roaches, cuts the tar intake down very dramatically, at first you think youre not getting as much thru, buts its all in the mind, theres just less of a hit at the back of the throat. I can't believe you are going to be getting the whole spectrum of effective properties cannabis contains when smoking joints with an actual cigarette filter. If this were not so, wouldnt coffeeshops be recommending it?

This was something i worried about for about a month then never worried about it again. Im talking here about being a long term puffer and as a very high tolerance dope smoker in his mid life phase and how to minimise the damage any smoking does in the long term, so bear in mind Im not discussing how to get as fucked as possible with one bong hit or whatever, Im descriibng something which has had a noticeable and very beneficial effect on my health and still allows me to smoke great gear daily but at the same time lessens the tar intake and I felt the benefit in my lungs within weeks. I have actually seen coffeeshops with these filters in tubs for those that want them also, but coffeeshops arent excatly a source of health of fitness, lets face it, so expecting them to promote the most healthy habits for the users of their product is perhaps expecting abit much, goes back to what was discussed elesewhere here, our beloved dam aint a health spaGnarleydudeman wrote:Surely though, some of the THC is being filtered out?templeball wrote:everyone is better off to use proper filters not just paper roaches, cuts the tar intake down very dramatically, at first you think youre not getting as much thru, buts its all in the mind, theres just less of a hit at the back of the throat. I can assure you though that I get plastered like you. The funny thing is now I find it revolting smoking a normal joint without a filter, all that tar taste that builds up on the end is horrible, and unnecessary once you realise there is a good alternative. Its like a half way house between saying i diont want to smoke any carcinogerns at all - (ie vapourisers) compared to sitting there with fags and almost useless bits of bleached paper in every joint. All I can say is that if you intend to smoke for years it can only be a good body thing...and I get mashed up every night without fail when I want to so have no fears..lastly, just to clarify, i mean the swan/rizla filter tips ,not breaking open cigarettes and using ciggie filters (which may well contain added chemicals or holes to increase the flow etc),

guys, I have been smoking with so called Jilter which are filters and I can tell you, there is no real downside to it. If you think its not as strong, you`re totaly wrong, like templeball said, its all in your mind.
@Ingwey Gooblebogger:
of course its way better to smoke pure (doing so since a few months), but when burnt in a joint, even cannabis will give you some bad chemicals, and many of them are filtered through the jilter, so give it a try, at least 2 weeks and you will see how your health will improve at least a little
