Smoking directly outside coffeeshop

Yes, Boner's advice would apply to a few other shops with nice Canal views: La Tertulia, Amnesia and Siberie. I believe that all three of these Shops have outdoor seating, at least they used to.

Hill Street Blues/Hunters & Utopia are another few where you can sit outside,I personaly used to like the outside seating at coffeeshop "Old Style" but that place closed down some years ago 8).

Another good spot is the window of greenhouse effect, in summer you can sit on the edge of the window

A few of years ago (before the smoking ban) myself and a friend sat outside Barneys with a view to try their breakfast and smoke a joint. The (somewhat moody) waitress told us whilst we could eat outside we could not smoke outside.

Bit strange but probably was just being concious of the neighbours.
