Decide in our extremely stoned state that we needed to make a concerted effort to take the smoke alarm apart in the apartment so we could smoke more whilst indoors. After nearly falling off a bookcase(RBJesus, why are the ceilings so high in Amsterdam) we managed it. Hurrah, spliffs away!!!
Promptly rolled and smoked a spliff of red cherry berry and giggled at the shenanigans of the arseholes off Jackass on t.v. Me and me mum then spent another half hour discussing the brilliance that is red cherry berry (might have mentioned this before!!) Went to bed thoroughly zombied and immediately fell into a coma!

I've tried space cake from Barney's, Basjoe, and Centraal. All were good.

I find I don't really get "high" off them like smoking a joint. Instead, it is more a mild body mellowing effect. I will eat two before flying and spend the flight pretty much sleeping the whole way.

[day 3]
Woke up at stupid o'clock, went to the little bakery next door and bought some of the loveliest freshest croissonts that i've ever tasted, especially with apricot jam, yum. In fact the overwhelming sound from this holiday will be me mum saying "mmmmhhhh, thats lovely" whether it be for food or ganga.
Promptly walked down the the cafe with a pre roll of something or other and had pancakes and an espresso (to kick us up the arse).
Mam then decided she wanted some truffles (very dissapointed she could no longer buy mushrooms)- She decided to take it easy , which is so unlike my mum, and bought soem "Philosophers Stone" truffles.
Walked over to hunters and purchased some Sour Diesel e11.50 g. Rolled one then christened Hunters toilet with my third visit of the morning (oh dear)
We then spent roughly a hour discussing the fact that as two women on their own in the Dam there is very few coffee shops that you feel perfectly comfortable in.[/b]

perhaps next time try yo-yo or la tertulia

both of these shops are female-run, in quieter parts of town and very pleasant

ps the apple tart at yo-yo is one of amsterdam's best imo
