Cheers again, just read it back myself, sounds like i had fun.
@ste- the terminator. Hmmm, where to start. First heard the buzz on here a few years ago. Had to try it, had about 4 different versions of it now, always sensational. It's a party piece and a killer high rolled into one. Unrefined, it'll fuck yer lungs... powdered it'll crease yer skull, currently, it's just right. A gram will last yer a few days if yer careful. Worth the punt at 50e, after all, thats only 10 pints here innit?.
Pengaldinho- sorry man, only had one blast of the rootang, during an assault on the post 420 spliff mountain. Hard to comment. Perhaps Dublin customs enjoyed the rest. To be fair, when it smells, feels and tastes that nice, it probably is. Was hoping to have some for breakfast last week, but no joy. . I'll be getting it next time though.

Nice one mate... that's filled in a few gaps in my missing memory - or was that me?

Gutted to hear about your postal problems fella... that's a real kick in the nuts fer sure... :(

Yep, it was a hell of a couple of days... Pity I succumbed to lack of sleep and general exhaustion - I was looking forward to meeting DC as he was mia when we went on the Thursday night.

I so desperately wanted to have a go on the rides - especially that dirty big tower thing with the seats-on-chains-thing going up and down at a height that would probably literally scare the shit out of me in the condition I was in... And after a very stoned selection of stomach-unsettling chocolate vla mixed with assorted sweet and savoury munchies, it might not have been happy times for anyone below, or in the immediate flightpath, should I have needed to liberate the contents of either my guts or indeed my bowels at great height and speed!

What a picture it would have made though, eh? Dust and ash clouds? Pah!

It all looked amazing at night though, with the lights and everything going ten to the dozen - maybe next year if they have it there again I'll give it a whirl (if you'll pardon the pun!)...

Great write-up fella!

Cheers Dave, glad i helped with the ol' memory. Shame you left on saturday, the last two days are a bit of a head scratcher if i'm honest.

Anyhoo....

Started the day the usual , sucking on a cone out the winda. 8). The greenery woke our stomachs up so we got our shit together for the day. Opened the door to find a carrier bag tied to the handle outside, just in time, as the cleaners were starting their rounds. DaveS had took up the role of “weed fairy” and left us some prezzies as we slept. We postponed breakfast to check out our new, and very welcome, bounty. Gracias amigo, was a pleasure tokin with yer again, see yer next time.
After some coffee, toast and eggs, we headed on down to Stones cafe, PC deciding he needed a full English with a hundred-and- something beans. It was too early for a beer, had one anyway. Holiday rules in effect. 8). Got the window seat facing Worm st. And remembered the last time i sat here.
Image
Me, my girl and her sis, wondering why a gay cinema/sex shop had imitation rubber vaginas in the window....The Fleshlight!! I suggested that it was because the “hairyarse”light was still at the R&D stage.
So after breakfast #2 for PC, we made our way over to Rozengracht to check on a clothes shop that had some top line garms with discounts between 40-75%. Two years ago me and the lady spent a ridiculous amount of cash in here (enough for a 5 day solo trip ) . They carry CP co., SI, y3, Armani, boss etc., Unfortunately, it was a bit bare this time so we fucked it off. Never mind, heading up here meant we were close to Paradox. Every cloud an’ that. :D
We were welcomed by the younger of the two regular BT’s, bought a small bag of “wash” hash. A firm, light hash. Quite spicy smelling. Never tried it, another lost to the man.  Just us and the BT in the shop, so he rustled up a round of coffees and joined us at the window table. Between my knowledge of c/s visited, and his eyes and nose, we set to work identifying the gifts from DaveS. Our host seemed impressed with what i believe were 420 purchases, SSH and NYCD? Dave?
NB:- anyone noticed the little step by the window table in here? PC didn’t, and gave his jacket a fresh coating of coffee when he moved his seat back a few inches..
After a thoroughly enjoyable hour discussing shady c/s practises and swapping tales of old, I grabbed a 20 or 24e bag of Amnesia haze, said our goodbyes and headed off on the short walk to, coincidentally, Amnesia. This was possibly the nicest bud i’ve had in Paradox, ran close by the Chocolope i had last year.
Saw IG and BB out front in the sunshine as we arrived, so we took the other bench and nipped inside for refreshments. Cisco showed up and we got busy with the AH and a few nice strains Cisco picked up at Boerejongens. Have vague recollections of Lampshade turning up too, could’ve swore he said he was going home last time we saw him. Sounds like his MO, apparently he never leaves until he’s had a few more days. Like yer style man. 8) The SC’s made tracks and left us with a handful of the famous Reeses eggs. Tasty stuff, thank you ladies. 8) Next to depart was Cisco, said he’d be ½ an hour, yeah mate, owt you say. :D . Got him to leave his grinder as ol’ faithful was in the Vijaya. We got another few g’s, Grinspoon for me, and left after waiting close on an hour. Headed off after passing on the last 2 reeses to 3 americans who’d taken the seat the SC’s had. Don’t think i could have made them happier if i’d emptied my pockets and given ‘em all my smoke. Told them to thank the two girls that left on the bike, and we pushed on to Any Day for more of that tasty affy.
PC mentioned the Manyoo/Spurs game was starting so we trammed it down to Leidseplein to find a suitable spot. Chose Hoopmans bar and watched the end of the first half then took the outside seats for a bit of sunshine. Wasn’t gonna chance a spliff here, so after the game finished (3-1 mancs), we did one back to the funfair in Dam. By now the sweetie demons were tapping on my brain like a petulant child. Sharp shut them up with 12 ollieballen drowned in choc sauce from this gem of a place....
Image
The Ollieballerie (great dutch word that), left of pic. Engines boosted, we headed back to Stones cafe and sat outside by the church, watching the comings(sorry) and goings at the “big and old” windows. Always thought of this curve as the “ Vice girls retirement village”, we even saw food being delivered to one, by what looked like her family, nothing too tough for the dentures i hope...
Realising i still had Cisco’s grinder, we set off for Basjoe, via a shoarma stop, in the hope he’d just turn up. Soon after, he did. Lamps and IG were here too, maybe others. Apparently i go blind in Basjoe and don’t notice some folk. He he. More Bas special for me, Heaven Haze for PC. Didn’t stay too long before deciding on a trip to t’Nes. So the four of us set off along Rusland, IG looking very pleased about something. Turns out it was a cake that had her smiling. No ordinary cake though, this one was a Basjoe baked goodie that looked like it would feed, and blitz, an army. Sweet. 8)
Got in to a very busy Nes to find DC sat by the internet terminal, watched Diego the cheatin bastard and Ireland’s equivalent figure of hate, Terry H, get what they deserved on a Youtube clip. Think to myself, if there is a God, he’d make a cracking ref if the book royalties ever dried up. Got a look at the famous “book” and left a scribble then kicked back and started to roll. The (now normal) amount of spliffs started round the table again, topped off with Gulpener, but we weren’t gonna spend the rest of the night here this time, so after a while, against my protests to PC, the two of us and Cisco bid DC farewell. It was good to meet you mate, i’ll be back with my better half soon enough, cadbury’s finest in the bag. Hope i have a bit more luck on the ice front next time. Been leaving 25e under my pillow every night, and so far, jack. 
Next stop was Burger bar, Cisco had split off somewhere i think, i’m going off sms info now. Sent him a few texts around 11pm from 420, and we met up here and headed off to stroll the RLD and get a beer in Stones, or Hunters, or both. Any idea man?
Me and PC finished the night off in Trinity bar, next door to our hotel. Watched two young Italian couples sit down near us on the canalside tables, followed by a goth version of Bluto, who was with them, but sat down two tables away, looking the worse for wear. He then adopted the brace position and began shouting soup all over the pavement, which was directly uphill from our spot. Time to move, bollox, I was mid roll.  . The lounge girl came over and told us we should head indoors now, as they were clearing these tables away soon. I pointed at my half rolled j, which she said was fine, so we finished a few more grolsch in here before heading next door to hit the scratcher. Nice and handy. Took the piss out of GothBluto on the way past, no sense of humour. Nighty night. 8)
Have to say, today was the hardest test of recollection yet, had to re-draft chunks of text after a few dim memories started to light up a bit. Looks like the Amnesia Haze does exactly what it says on the tin.
TTFN.... peace, AP.
