5 days from now me, my girlfriend and another friendly couple are on our way to the smokers paradise.
I am exited like a kid before Christmas . caught myself walking the streets on google maps over and over in the last week
Staying at St. Christophers at the Winston as i only read good things about the place, and the included breakfast.
I just registered today but haven been leeching of this forum for a year or so, and I especially enjoy the travel reports – I check them
at least once a day – sometimes feels like u r there yourself.
Since there are so many great recommendations and strain/shop reviews I made a good little list what to check out where,
but I don´t really plan on buying everything on it. It´s my 7th trip since 2001 and I am aware of the fact that even the best plans seem not to work once you actually get there.
Butt still I want to know what to look at closer when I check the menus. Apart from my personal favorites of course.
And this time i´m looking for some really tasty hashes for the evening. Stuart1976 keeps recommending the mexi ice from bluebird and katsu has marrocan ice at a reasonable price,
but haven´t heard of anybody who tried it yet.
Have to say that i´m not willing/able to spend 20-50 EUR for a gram, i´m sure it´s exceptional quality at that price, like the Terminator everyone is talking about.
But it´s just way too much money in my opinion.
Shops we will definitely visit will be :
Mellow Yellow (always the first smoke), Greenplace, Greenhouse Centrum (my girl´s favorite), Dampkring Original, Hunters (NYCD), Basjoe and Katsu (BlackWidow)
I also want to check Speak Easy for their 20 EUR bags of 4g WW or 5g Powerplant. Sounds like a good deal.
Enough with the smoking already… we will try to find the Brasil Bar as they have the Jamrock reggae night on Tuesday when we arrive – anyone been to this place?
And a personal MUST for me is the damn Burger Bar…someone posted pictures of the food and I was lost…
I seem to talk about it so much now that we all are craving to go there. Even checked the menu on their website
I/We would love to hear if anyone else will go to the Gentleman concert or If he´s even known outside of germany?
Can´t wait for Tuesday….
