Could anyone advise which recommended bars in the city centre offer the best value for money. Plus are there particular bars where you get a discount when you buy a bigger bulk (say, 5g for the price of 4g or some such)? Many thanks

Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.

most coffeeshop discounts are illusions in my opinion
The cheapest shops legally can't sell for any cheaper than they already do
So others extort or 1g prices and their 5g price is fair...
one good deal is noon 4g blueberry 23 euro...incosistent quality tho

quote from Nol Van Schaik below - (full article @http://www.hempcity.net/blog/?p=281)

Although it is theoretically forbidden to buy cannabis in quantities bigger than 5 grams, coffeeshops or their suppliers by hash and weed by the kilo, and stash those batches somewhere to be able to supply the coffeeshops from there. These stashes are illegal, but as soon as a cannabis products moves from a stash to a coffeeshop it becomes legal, and taxes have to be paid over the sales of these products. The Tax people tell us what the consumer price is: we have to sell our cannabis products for the buying price + 100 %, or more than 100 %, NOT less! This means we can no longer sell cannabis with discount, the Taxman taxes us for the full price, so discounts are no longer allowed.

It also means that coffeeshops have to sell a gram of cannabis they bought for 4 Euro’s for 8 euro’s, cannabis bought for 5 euro’s for 10 euro’s etc…

As you can see, the taxman sets the consumer price, there is nothing we can do about that, if we do not pay our taxes as prescribed, we will lose our businesses.

I am so glad you went there and liked it....I am keen on promoting the shop since they are so nice.

Its a pity they had to ditch the bar and choose to only do take-out. There is a not a place in my neighborhood to have a nice relaxing smoke.

Whats your fav shop? Are you local?

yep, well I'm semi-local, Im lucky enough to split my time between dam and the uk. no.1 has to be boerejongens, although haven't been there in a while as I've got a bit bored with their strains... similar to chapiteau in the sense of price and quality, a lot of dampkring weed at cheaper prices as well as a few exclusive strains..

Agreed. I like the Anyday deal because you can mix and match, instead of getting 5g of just one strain.
