You have to remember that in California, everyone with a med card is allowed to grow. So people are just going all out. When Californians do something..they do it well.

so in other words if we disagree with you we're wrong and jealous? i try not to be biased and i'd love to say cali is better but imo both are on the same level. once legalisation for ALL happens we'll talk then. if its legal i think most people in europe will continue to go to the dam while most americans will hit cali. the dam will prob keep the africa/middle eastern market while cali prob will get more folks comming in from the pacific/asia.

Honestly, 75% of the weed in the Dam is just "reasonable" quality, and has a similar taste/smell/appearance. You have to look around to find the really good shit that stands out of the crowd.

Its really not hard to beat Amsterdam at its own game, especially when its legal to grow in California.

larger and more organised industry + more competition + higher profits = better weed for consumers

I'm sure that in 3 to 5 years, MANY other places will have better weed than the Dam.

Cali has some great shit. No doubt about it. Not the best IMO however. It all boils down to the grower. There is no way you can say a certain geography has the best pot. If that were the case it would be a worldwide tie. How many of you know a great grower? Every society has those who choose to use their green thumb for the purpose of being a good Samaritan.

Think of every country you have been to and remember the best pot from each and chances are they all scored relatively even right?


Legalization won't happen yet. Jamaica has tried twice in the last 10 years but the US has threatened sanctions so Jamrock had to back off. we are looking at least another decade of Medicinal Use Only IMO.

Amsterdam just doesn't seem to have the amount of crazy strains and crosses that Cali has right now. I'm not necessarily saying that the quality is any better but in terms of sheer variety and strains that are practically unheard of here. I wonder if the grass IS greener on the other side.

LOL great weed can be found all over the world if its grown correctly. Yeah new strains arnt popping up every day but how longs it been happening over there.

Whats also hillarious is amount of americans ordering seeds from amsterdam, so a lot of the dank your smokin probs has dutch genetics n just grown in US

Ive a exodus cheese mother blues mother both clone only n id put them against any us strain LOL not to mention the others ive done from seed but im not on here saying UK has best weed in world !!

Youve a few good strains n then the rest r just pheno's of same strain n renamed from state to state. Good weeds down to good genetics selection at seed producer thru to well controlled grow environment to good cure now do it right n it dont matter if your in belgium or russia it will be dank.

I think the fact you have so many classifications for wee from shwag up 2 dank shows not ALL thee weed theres great

cheese aint an indica its a hybrid n no real exodus cheese in dam just the copys there now n main point of post was that with good genetics n good grow techniques great weed comes from anywhere.

n if you aint smoked on real cheese cut which by your location i doubt you have then should you come across it im sure it'd change your view.

I think you're forgeting that Exodus Cheese is just a pheno of a US strain. According to a documentary I watched people were smoking mostly hash in Amsterdam before Sam the Skunkman showed up on the scene with his Cali bred Skunk. In fact Skunk, Northern Lights, and Haze are all west coast genetics that are the building blocks of a alot of todays Dutch Genetics you speak of. I will agree with you that genetics are what's important, but Cali has better genetics always have and probably always will.

There isn't a single strain of cannabis that is indigenous to Cali.
