No stability in the strains though, Rez's whole IBL is a marketing ploy, OG Kush is prone to herm the same with Rez's Sour Diesel, they all have a long way to go to match Shanti & Neville.

I find the purple strains particularly interesting, like the purple urkle, GDP and all the other crosses. America also seems to benefit greatly from the Canadian seed-banks, a lot of american/canadian crosses seem to pop up (romulan crosses for example).
I'm obviously basing a lot of this on forums/marijuana reviews, and it may just be a case of re-branding older strains, but some of the crosses i see on marijuana reviews make me cock my head to the side and drool a little bit.

Correct...i am friends with a cali farmer and they all give different names to try to stand out amongst all the competition....have you seen names like og kush, bubba kush, master kush, banana kush, etc...they are all kush varieties grown by different farmers....who was the original? they all claim to be...Boner wrote:A few people I know who are growers in Cali say a lot of these so called new strains are just differant phenos that the growers decide to rename, the OG Kush and all the differant cuts is a prime example.
personally love cali buds, but love the 'dam vibe the best...worldwide variety with global mates...
don't panic...smoke some organic....

I've caught myself doing the same thing a time or three. Some of the new strains popping up at the dispensaries look pretty f'n tasty, and what you see on that sight is just a small sample of all the breeding that's going on there. I've got nothing against Dutch genetics they do pretty awesome work themselves, but from What I see Cali is just a little ahead of the game.True Playa wrote: some of the crosses i see on marijuana reviews make me cock my head to the side and drool a little bit.

pretty much sums it up for me. if the legalise i'll prob go down but i wont be spending time in la..maybe sf. but i can see myself going to the city to pick up then going to tahoe or big bear to camp/bike/board.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

In my experience; NOT the American Border!to be fair 50% of the time you will get thru if you dont declare. Unless you are on any watch list. ......
The Yanks do NOT fuck around! They check everyone!
Their border guard/customs agents have always been extremely vigilant, but after 2001, they have stepped it up a few hundred notches.
They have access to all the police records of any US, Canadian, and Mexican citizen. (and I suspect, citizens of most other countries. Interpol has database, they can check)
If you come up on their computer screens as having a criminal record (even for simple possesion) then you ain't getting in! PERIOD.
Even if you have a pardon, the guard will still tell you "No Dice".
(I witnessed that one personally, when I travelled by bus to a concert in the US. The poor fucker had to find his own way back from the border to the city, about 60 miles.)
If your country has extremely lax reporting (or a non-computerized criminal convictions database) then you might be able to get away with it. BUT that pretty much rules out any industrialized country.

I just spent a while looking through that extensive list but it seems pretty irrelevent to post a review on every bit of weed you buy--apart from making entertaining reading what use is a review on Trainwreck for instance. Its not as if you can go and ask a month later for the exact same stuff--its going to be from a different batch--and trainwreck can be good or bad depending on the grower/batch just like any other
anyway heres a pic i lifted from one of the reviews

I love the $60 four gram MIX and Match offer---its like the Pick N Mix sweets you used to get in Woolworth.
For any Californians out there--this is on you home patch, its from a place called NUGGETRY in Long Beach CA
PS If this medicinal scene ever gets going in the UK, I wonder if we will see a menu like this in BOOTS

Here's Some pic's of some of their menu .
It was started by a guy by the name of Chubb's who's very knowledgable about cannabis and growing and has some of the best stuff in Southern California.
He is sort of " known" around those parts

My girl would be delighted, just imagine all the advantage points i'd rack up.
If some one told me my epilepsy could be of use five or six years ago I'd have told them they were crazy, but now I'm moving to California.
What a difference time makes.
