damn, thats F'N BALLS that they disabled some of your adsense accounts. mine is still ok at this moment, but its not payout time yet, I've only had a handful of clicks anyway. Now I'm gonna add my blog to some directories and such, to bring in some non-ACD traffic.
I'm guessing that their ad system can detect repeat clicks from the same IP address, and thats what brought up the red flag... ie. it can tell when your friends are repeatedly clicking your ads for you. This has to be automated, theres no way its a real person actually counting and analyzing the clicks of every single website. For those who were disabled, I think its worth writing a short dispute, you never know if they'll just push a button and enable your account again. Could just say something like "oops, I did tell my friends that I can make money when people click my ads and I guess they took it too literally, but I've now informed them not to click my ads". If google doesn't budge, well at least you tried.
some of you were talking about a percentage? what does it mean, and where can I see mine?

Google AdSense will not associate any web site with Drug, alcohol, and tobacco-related content, btw, according to the below text.
The AdSense program policies prohibit Google ads on sites which sell or promote drugs or drug paraphernalia. This includes drug accessories, illegal or prescription drugs, and herbal drugs such as salvia and magic mushrooms. Ads are also not permitted on pages which sell or promote the sales of beer, hard alcohol, or liqueurs. Additionally, publishers are not permitted to place ads on sites which sell or promote tobacco and tobacco-related products, including cigarettes, cigars, tobacco pipes, and rolling paper.
Please be aware that the promotion of prohibited content includes providing links to sites that do not follow our drug, alcohol, and tobacco-related content policies.
However, publishers are permitted to place ads on informational content relating to brewing or distilling beer, as well as content related to the topic of quitting smoking.
Thank you! This gets rid of this thread that stank from the start anyway!

Great 5 pages right up until the predicted outcome.
Also... besides the drugs ban, ad click rates average about 0.2 to 0.3 percent... so when people are saying "I only had a 22% or 33%" that's setting off major alarm bells with google.
You can't be knocked for trying though... too bad it couldn't have paid out in the end.

Amsterdam dreaming.............
Should be fine there..sn00ze wrote: anyone know if Amazon have a problem with drug related content?
They certainly sell plenty of 'drug' books.
There's ways to hide your site from amazon so they don't know where your traffic is coming from. They're ok with it as long as there is nothing shady detected. You can PM me if you want me to explain to you how to do it but, you should be ok regardless. It's not so easy for most people to convert Amazon. So, their rules etc.. are not as strict.
I know, but wanted to point out that making weed blogs is futile regarding AdSense and people thinking they will get paid by having pictures of weed on their site and talking about it.bleak wrote:erm... not all the blogs are drug related, but whateverTRANCE wrote: Thank you!
