I am now posting LIVE from Green Place, Jay-Z is playing and I just smoked half a blunt of some Blue Cheese as my first smoke and I'm bakeeed! Uneventful 7 1/2 hour flight which is a good thing and I'm lovin Green PLace already. Perfect shop, cool tender & the music's good. The Blue Cheese is good, smooth smoke and nice, subtle flavor but rather dry. Surprising but it still smoked very well.

Will probably head over to MY for the Blueberry 4 grammer despite the weather. The hotel is cool. Very small but the shared facilities aren't awful.

All in all, so far so good.

Getting ready for a new day.

Yesterday was a whirlwind. Bought 1g of Blue Cheese from Green Place, as I mentioned yesterday. Headed over to Mellow Yellow for the 4 gram Blueberry special and 1g of some S5 Haze. S5 looks and smells amazing, haven't smoked any of yet. Also bought 1g of Trainwreck from Green Place, buy of the trip thus far and a good bargain at 10E a gram.

Plans for today include getting over to Basjoes & Grey Area and who knows what else.

Wishing I brought a jacket or warmer hoodie as it's chilly but if that's the worst of my problems right now I'm not doing too bad.

Quick heads up: My pics are coming out terrible due to very poor lighting in my room combined with no natural light in my room. Hope to snap some better shots today.

Yes, everytime I've passed by Basjoes it's been closed so have been frequenting Green PLace quite a bit. The Trainwreck was some real sticky, good bud. May get another gram. Got 1g of some Head Band last night, also some really nice sticky bud. Aside from the dryness of the Blue Cheese, nothing to complain about with this shop, pure perfection.

Off to Dampkring 2 today for some Jack Herer & White Choco, both were out of stock yesterday. May also pop into Grey Area if I'm around by noon and will try and find Paradox, as well.

My bud pics are still coming out terrible so apologies to the board in advance.

Edit: The S5 was simply amazing!

I seem to be suffering the same fate as LS, I messed my knee up pretty badly and I have a blister on the bottom of my foot from all this walking. Looks like it's gonna be a local day today, will probably get some souvenirs and limp around the Warmoestraat area.

Good to see you are still holding up enough to give us a wee live Update. Much appreciated.

Last day, unfortunately. Already checked out and plan on doing some last minute souvenir shopping and hit a few shops for my last smokes. Have a few fat, pure cones rolled up right now, one of 4077 Medicinal Leaf with some Himalaya Hash and the other with some Bas Special also with some Himalaya.

Yes, I did hit Basjoes finally yesterday and let's say it didn't go so well, lol.

I'll fill everyone in when I get home.

Glad you made it over there finally, fenix. Trainwreck is one of my fave strains as well, always make a Trainwreck buy in GP every trip.

Didn't get a blister, but my 'boots were made for walkin' this time. Gonna buy another pair just like 'em as I've never had such comfy, leather boots that were cute at the same time. Did get one on my finger from not paying attention whilst passing back and forth, though.

In all my trips to amsterdam at basjoe I felt as if I were at home and always top quality.Last time(February 2010) quality was high as usual But I have to say James was rude and treated mistreated me and my friend.

I'm home and will be updating the thread with some sort of writeup/travelogue in the coming days, along with pics very soon. I don't think I got many great bud shots but hopefully theres some nice weed porn for you guys & gals in my camera somwhere.

Also, a humongous THANK YOU to the board, Boner especially, for promoting the hell outta Burger Bar. Holy shit, those were some good burgers! Bacon & Blue Cheese was good but the Sauteed Onions & Cheddar was more intoxicating than any herb I bought out there dude, seriously, lol.

I accomplished all my culinary goals too, Burger Bar, Wok To Walk, Chocomel and the infamous FEBO. Oh yes, there was FEBO!

Thanks again to everyone worth a damn on this site for keeping us occasional 'Dam visitors with a wealth full of good info about any & everything Amsterdam.

Stay tuned for updates, pics & my awful intro to Basjoes...........
