Embraman Live Report May 12th - 14th

Landed yesterday at 10am, headed to the hotel at Dam Square, didnt quite make it past hunters though and got a gram of Amnesia Haze (13 Euros) to start me off, nice smoke, good after taste and a mellow buzz. 8/10

Dumped the bags at the hotel, then straight over to Amnesia. Got 2 grams of NYCD (13 Euros), after smelling a few samples, this one stood out. Gorgeous smoke, lovely taste and fx, 10/10. Already this one will be hard to beat. Lovely bit weed, washed it down with a shake - lovely.

After chilling for a bit, we moved over to Green place, after finding Basjoes was closed at 4pm. Got a gram of headband (12 Euros) after hearing good things about it, strange smell, plenty power though, no where near the flavour of the NYCD.

After dinner, sat in Hunters bar for a while, then up to Greenhouse Centrum, got 2 grams of Hawaain Snow (22 Euros), there wasnt much choice, most of the buds on display were small or shake, smelt good but smoking a little bit harsh, 7/10.

Spent rest of the night in Nes, having a vodka and strawberry Looza. Met a Scottish guy who gave me a nice bud of his personal after my wife blabbed it was my birthday and who said the Scottish are tight.....

Very nice of him, smelt and tasted hazy, was better than what i just bought in Greenhouse, back to the hotel at 12, nice and baked.

Writing this from Abraxas, just got a gram of Apple jack (12 Euros), just about to give it a try, then head down the Pijp for the afternoon.

36 trips to Amsterdam Embraman--I'm surprised you dont get a council tax bill lol

Anyway 6 strains on your first day and a good mix at that--taking notes here as its getting near for me----NYCD on the list--how was the Hawaiin Snow ? now theres a proper name for a strain, sure sounds more exotic than New York City Diesel

First ,sorry for the slow updates,too busy getting baked or cant get access to the web.
After Abraxas this morning,took a walk via Leidseplein to Club Media,got to get buzzed in now and the pool table is gone but the menu is the same,yum.Have a sniff and decide on the Silver Haze at 10 Euro a gram,lovely smell,crumble and a beautiful smoke 10/10.Should have probably got more but get 2 grams of Lobotomy(20 Euro)as i had it before,even tho i'm expecting it to be good,it still blows me away,again a cracking smoke and a really nice shop,after finding we use our own tea bags never charged for the teas,nice touch.A couple in Rookies on the way back into town too,just for a pit stop.
Down to Getto for a lovely burger,then into Hunters for a gram of Cheeze 10 Euro for a night cap.Writing this from Nes,working my way through my wee stash.Update on the Cheeze in the morning whenever i head to Abraxas.Peace,Embraman

Dunno how I missed you on Weds night, think I was only off the bar for an hour or so all day, between 10 and 12 doh!. Thurs night snooze sesh so I'm not surprised I didn't see ya then. Probably playing poker tonight but get one of the staff to give me a shout if ya come in, incase I'm there.

Sorry i missed ya dc and to all for my poor reporting.Planned to do a decent,detailed report but its just not worked out.
Anyways,I smoked the Cheeze from Hunters while the wife got ready this morning.Really pungent and strong,keep getting looks from the hotel staff lol.Head over to Amnesia as usual and treat myself to 2 g of Utopia Haze(30 Euro),enjoyed this before and its great again,hard to explain,a real mix of flavours and fx.Nice and strong,good as i leave tonite.

.lunch,then over to Green Place.Had a sniff,then decided on the Casey Jones (13Euro).What a smoke!Gorgeous smell and really tasty,10/10.Writing this from Abraxas,just going to get a gram of something nice to round of the trip.Will post more later,apologies for the lazy reporting :

I kept my phone on me and was making notes as often as possible and i have maybe half of my trip report down, i'll just fill in the grey areas (again PUN INTENDED)!!

Keep it up, i love a good report keeps me informed, even tho i only came back on monday!!!

Enjoying your fine report Embraman--keep going--even after you get home--I am hearing a lot of good things about Casey Jones recently as I trawl the internet concerning Amsterdam ( Although its not mentioned so much in these forums ? )
Saw a video somewhere saying Casey jones is the big thing this year in the Dam--so casey Jones is going on the list. also have a feeling about Amnesia--apparently a fine shop weed wise but maybe lacking in the peace and hygiene dept---anyway I ramble --carry on

PS I will really have to try and stop using hyphens as a type of punctuation--it used to annoy folk on other forums so apologies if it does likewise to anyone reading my posts

Cheers Bilbo,The Casey was lovely,one of the best of trip.ps for me Amnesia is good in both the peace and hygiene dept,weed is always good too imho.Finished off by getting a gram of Amnesia Pollen from Abraxas,18 Euro a g,but a nice,uplifting smoke,maybe even better sprinked on some weed.Threw it into 3 spliffs and down the neck,then 30 mins left till train,so while Embralady has a last cocktail,i go to Greenhouse Effect and get some Super Lemon Haze 12 Euro,for a last couple of smokes.Really tasty weed with a lovely high and unbelievably my first time in here in all those trips.Shop itself was pretty standard but all the weed looked and smelled nice that i checked and i will try again another day.Just got home

will do a round up of the trip later.Peace,Embraman
