Hotel Groenendael

Post by AmDamMan »

Anyone's views on this place? Nice and cheap but i've always looked at the place when walkin past and thought it looked like a bit of a dive, the reviews are 50/50.
I normally stay at cornerhouse but have been quoted €45 for a single and previously only paid 35, raised this in an email and now I can't get a response out of them.
So anyone been to Groenendal or any other clean cheap hotels around €35 pn?

I was there in 2000. The hostel in Vondelpark is much nicer.

i almost always stay here when i visit solo. Can't really find cheaper for a single room, well located, and clean. shared toilet/shower facilities, basic brekki included. it's fine if you're ot too picky .. :)

I prefer to have my own room but not fussed about mod cons. Always go basic, rather spend the money on other things lol. As long as its clean I'm happy :)
