I just read the Purple Kush @ Greenplace isn't even that, the guy that grows it just sells it to them and they name it what they think will sell the best, rip off c**ts to be honest.
bullshit.. i've had purple kush several times from TGP and it is very similar in taste to Canadian purple kush I have also smoked extensively. It's definitely the real deal. Or at least Was, I haven't been to dam since last Sep though so they might have changed it.
the green place are one of the more honest coffeeshops I have been to in terms of selling what is described. don't trust everything you read on forums..!
to be honest i think greenplace ae purely business-minded, i.e they will still sell batches that are too dry/ shake, and they are quite pricey aswell. At the best local shops bad batches simply don't get bought by the coffeeshop owner.
Based on the fact that a lot of customers will just look at the menu and ask for a gram without even looking at the bud, i don't doubt nearly all coffeeshops do this.

true - i think all tourist-aimed coffeeshop probably does this, but you build up trust with local shops - i dont check bud in my local as I know the quality is always good and it's always dry and well cured....

Yup.
Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
