I used to work on Lexuses in the 90's...thought they were great at the time...wouldn't piss on one if it was on fire now...

even as a german I tend to lexus!
BMW is great but seen too much, lexus is just recogniced by knowleged people concerning cars! Quality should be equal, even lexus might have a better quailty I think! And lexus is more legitimate, you know...

go get a lexus!!!

in germany lexus was nearly unknown about 10 years ago!
even today they are a rarity in germany.
the tests results are always top! they have power unaware people will not face. they are not chaep when bought new, and sometimes a bargain when used! I would say they are the same level as AUDI, BMW and Daimler. But with much more understatement!

I worked for a 'very' well known Toyota Lexus dealer in London...they'd get the ex-demo's and clock the fuckers back to zero, get me to paint them and make them all nice again, and sell them for brand new!

that's bad with the tuning of the clocks!

I think lexus is not that special car in the UK as it's in germany to be honest. if I was from england I might tend to a german car, too. what I mean is that cars have diff images in different countries.

I had a Lexus in the US and it was the best car I have ever owned. Worked flawlessly. My Mom has a 20 year old Lexus that still runs like a swiss watch.
That maybe but the fact remains they've recalled quite a few recenly all over the world for things like brake fluid leaking and steering problems, I wouldn't touch one myself atm.
if your saying their not good cars fair enough, but a fault on a certain model from a certain year which will be repaired free under guarantee is not imo a good enough reason to say dont buy, even the best of cars have design flaws, its like saying to some1 dont buy an xbox cos you may get a red light

atm means at the moment, I'd just be wary of buying one now and would wait & see what happens over the next few months to see if any new faults appear, bit of a stupid comparrison as well imo as a 360 not working because of a design fault isn't going to kill you (or someone else) unlike a brake and/or steering problem with a car.
