is this problem contained to europe(in eguards to lexus)? because over here i havent heard much bad about them being bad. i drive a toyota sequoia now and its a great car and the toyota i had before was a borderline curse, refused to get rid of it until it went out and eventually gave up on it going out anytime soon at 375k miles. i love BMW's though, but alot of my friends who own them have changed to lexus/infinity due to the cost of maintenance and the vast availability of parts over here. had an acura too(honda) and that was a great car too. as much as i love the 3 series right now if i had the $ i think i'd pick an infinity g37 or lexus is..or even a 2 year old acura tl over many other lux cars right now. purely based on maintenance/parts costs over here.

Worldwide recall as far as I know, I'm not saying they're bad cars (posh Toyotas aren't as good as their german counterparts imo) they've just got a bit of a shit name at the moment and I personally wouldn't want to drop 30k on a car thats got possible safety issues.

 fair enough, but as far as im aware no1 anywhere has died from these flaws, & unless the brake fluid reservoir exploded it wouldnt matter anyway even if the fluid did leak out the pressure would gradually lower & the pedal would get soft & you would know somethings wrong, i dont know anything about the steering problems, but it wont be anything serious, take it from some1 whos been in the car repair trade for over 13years these manufacture faults are common place, they are never serious enough to cause an accident, even the toyota sticky pedals havent been proven to have caused an accident, they claim but cant prove (&now its proved that it wasnt the pedal anyway but the floor mat getting in the way) & anyway any1 whos driven an E30 BMW, knows all about sticky accelarators, but it wernt a problem back in those days, because the c**ts we now know as compensation solicitors hadnt fully evolved,
also every car with a proven fault is looked up on the DVLA database & notices sent out to current owners, ive had a few, but never act on them, starter motors, solonoids, alternator belts e.t.c, if the car works :D

+you never felt like chucking the xbox at some1 head? bet that would do some damage

Not as flashy(or impressive spec wise) as bmw/audi/mb.and not as many features but they will run a bit longer. and outside of Europe cheaper to maintain. always thought japan(ESP Toyota ) makes capable 4wd vehicles as well.

A little unrelated but having to do a credit report ATM as I
Nworried my identity was stolen. some person in Conneticut it enquirer about a c class under my name.

would hate to get hit in the head with a ps3..would take my head off much like a cannonball was..nothing against the ps3(i do strongly prefer 360 though) but that things huge. the size of my vcr(yes i still have and even use my vcr on occasion ).

for the record while we're on about cars. really like that new lexus is-f. its not as good or cool as a bmw m but i still kinda like it. the nissan gt-r....not so much.

fitter m8, id feel embaraased to call myself a mechanic, when all i really do is replace broken shit  , started working in my dads garage @14, got kicked out of school 3months into year 11 (for being a cock), so went straight to work, so while my m8's were sitting in class i was on £200 aweek :D , i just wish i learnt how to do proper mechanics, e.g engine blueprinting, worked at a few garages since then, mostly in croydon/lambeth area, you bodywork then? ever heard of chandler stewart? we used to do alot of their mechanics/mots, ferraris, porsche, astons :D

@ boner, never seen that m8, proper bad
