Well folks, the U.S. authorities have "jumped the gun" by extraditing Marc Emery today (Thursday) instead of Monday as planned. Canadian cannabis activists have been peacefully occupying the offices of Conservative Members of Parliament in protest.
Perhaps this is in response to the protest that took place yesterday (Wed) when a group including Mrs. Jodie Emery occupied the Prime Minister's Constituency Office and those who have exemptions from Health Canada were rolling joints, but not smoking them. See YouTube Video:

Rallies are being held in Canada, U.S.A., Germany, Holland, Norway, Denmark, Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, and Ireland... so far.

Cannabis is under attack by the federal government here in Canada. At least four compassion clinics have been raided in the past six months. Politicians are passing laws including mandatory prison sentences of at least six to twelve months for growing more than 5 plants.

The DEA has offices in countries around the world and Marc Emery was arrested in Canada by American law enforcement.
He is now on his way to the United States to face a prison sentence of up to 25 years for selling mail-order cannabis seeds to the U.S., which would carry a punishment of one month prison or a fine in Canada.
