Hello it will be my first time in Amsterdam and travelling alone was wondering will anyone be there during that time. I need a smoking buddy in the dam and I hate toking and exploring alone and it is also my bday

There are Toke & Talks on the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th. These are excellent opportunities to meet fellow tokers in Amsterdam.

I am in town during your stay; traveling on my own as well but don't mind it at - its very uncomplicated. Anyway, hope to see at one of the T&Ts. The one's I know of are: Bagheera 9pm on the 2nd, Basjoes(or Green Place) at 11am on the 3rd and Katsu at 4:20pm on the 4th.

any suggestions for a toke and talk really don't know any coffee shops since it's my first time please help with suggestions

There are 4 Toke and Talks set up during the time that you are in town: the 2nd @ 9;00pm @ BAGEERA, the 3rd @11:00 am @ BASJOE, the 4th @ 4:20pm @Katsu and the 6th @ 9:00 pm @ Bagheera. You are more then welcome to attend any of those T&Ts or have your own when you get in on the 1st. I would suggest the 420 Coffee Shop at 4:20pm. The shop is close to the Train station, and it's also a popular destination at 4:20. Some other good shops in the Centrum are: Hunters, Anyday, Amnesia, Home Grown fantasy, the Grey Area, Green Place, Paradox and the Dampkring. Just post your time and I will try to make it myself. There are a lot of ACD peeps in town that day. We can be a pretty good resource for you if your new to town. Cheers!

toke and talk at the green place 10 am please anyone try to make it flight gets in at 6am that morning and will need to toke it off and talk

You may want to push this back a bit , don't think GP opens until 10:00 have fun wherever you end up

That's right, the Green Place opens at 10:00! Hunters and Popeye open at 7:00 am, Picasso at 8:00 am and Prix d'Ami at 9:00am; these are a few options for you. You can always change the G.P meet to 10;00 am as well. When you have your shop and time sorted just post a thread on Travel plans and F.B.N will put it on his Who's in Town site. I would love a toke n talk with someone. I'll be in the Dam 7-10 June and my companions have all dropped out so it'll be just me again. it's not as fun when i go by myself... (but it's better than not going at all)

I'll be hanging around Leidseplein area mostly Happy Feelings.

Don't worry, you'll have a great time.

I strongly recommend you print the map from this site- it has all of the coffeeshops on it, and is really good enough to get you around the city on foot. I circled all the ones I really wanted to try on my first trip.

Also, check out the travelogues for more information about people's favorite shops and strains. It's the most current information on here and you can really get a feel for various shops and their particular specialties.

Really, you can't have a bad time in Amsterdam. It's impossible. Come to a toke and talk- we look forward to meeting you.
