we have a good amount of skateparks here. i think the city councils/police would rather have kids skating there than say the mall or local schools or parking lots.

It's so cool how the states really create some awesome parks for the kids, it's nothing like that here man!

Is skating pretty popular near you?
Very much so. The biggest concentration of parks is in Cantona's part of the world. The guys that built ours came from the Portland area.

How do you like that Fibreflex? One of my buddies, who surfs, loves those boards.

Never been to Burnside, but it's considered the park that jump started the concrete parks we have now.

Catona what's a rent-a-cop?

It just seems here that the old bill have nothing better to do than bust kids skating, the kids sitting around doing nothing productive but spitting on the floor are cool though apparently.

basically a cop w/o a badge, gun or the right to detain ya. they can watch and hassle ya and call the cops themselves. some of them like to believe they're cops though. my brother had one when he was like 16 who actually pulled a gun or threatened to him that he had a gun and then he sort of detained him. i think they can get fired for that though.
