Snupo in town: 17/08-24(?)/08

After 4 yrs, finally i can see my Dreamland again
I will be there from 17/08 to 24/08 but only arrival is sure, maybe i decide to stay some days more, maybe till 27.
For the first time i come with my girlfriend (The Snupa) (she has never smoked even a cigarette but is really tolerant with me and shes really curious to see Amsterdam)
I decided to use the train (She cant fly) so, after 21 hours of train (Vicenza->Milan->Zurich->Amsterdam) i will be there around 10 am of 17.
U can imagine that my 1st stop will be not in hotel but in a CS near Central station (Picasso or Dampkring) for my first fat joint.
I reserved a room in Botel (For her, as for me i can even sleep under a bridge or in front a CS) hoping they're smoker friendly for rooms (if not, well, socks and wet towels do wonders
Well, hope to see some nice ppl to have a chat and some (uhmmm some...better say Many) joint together.

Instead of making multile threads i perfer using this for asking some hints, hoping is fine.
We will be at Botel (Near Centraal Station if im correct, travel agency is doing work for me, im too stoned for even think to try ), anyone knows if they tolerate weed/hash smoking in room?
Im thinking to try to smoke and, if they argue, claim to be ignorant and apologize (Im very polite (sometimes... ))
If anyone stayed there and can tell me something, it will be a nice help.
Passing to food, well, i dont like McDonalds (In Italy we call them "Merdonalds" where "merd" means shit) and i dont like Burgers.
I remember wonderful fries shop (One time i was so stoned and ive eaten so many and finished to puke) and even Felafel (Maoz or something similar? Im correct?) was really nice.
Do you have any suggestions for a good meal w/o losing an arm to pay?

maoz falafel is awesome.

my favourite chip/fries place is called 'mannekin pis'. if you go to the big grasshopper coffeeshop/steak house/bar in the center, there is a bridge over water directly outside it. cross the bridge with grasshopper behind you and it is pretty much in front of you, to the left a bit, on the opposite side of the road (damrak). the 'obelix' size portion they do is often too much, so will satisfy the strongest of munchies.

if you have booked a smoking room, then i would also just do the smoke first, plead ignorance later plan

Thx for ur hint, words "Manneken pis" are not new for me, so even if buried afted so many dead brain cells, i still remember something
If im correct i got an "Obelix" size portion after a "Dont-even-know-if-im-a-man-or-a-cat" CS tour and a double portion of shrooms...
Omg, i was so out of this world... ive been lost in Dam for hours, was a miracle i dont came back in Italy by feet
Anyway even if those places are good for me, my GF prefer some more "normal" place.
I dont even think of trying some Italian place; ive heard that Indonesian and Surinaam cuisine are very good.
Any suggestion of some good place to try something?

Finally all is ready!!



I've asked a confirmation on my booking to Botel this morning after getting Voucher from Travel agency.
First time im using them and after last summer problem in Italy with a big Travel agency (They fu**ed so many ppls ruining their holidays), ive said "better safe than sorry" so after Botel mail im more relaxed.
Last problem is...THOSE FU***NG DAYS ARE SO SLOOOOOW!!!!
I'm thinking to hybernate and wake up 15/08, just in time to make my luggages and start the trip
