Interesting we disagree about noon. I realized that I've only ever been by there before noon (hehe). (When it is clean and bright.) I take it the scene changes a lot later in the day- I'd love to hear your impression of it.
I went during the day and found it to be dirty, vsmelly and smokey - my friend came away with flea bites.

Thanks for that, stoner moment (or life really).

Good to know about the flea bites- eewww. I had only been there for the first time this trip, as I really like the dirty bustle of Mellow Yellow so we normally just go there. I can easily believe that my early morning stop was not representative.

I remember being in a coffeeshop with a forum member and we had 2 very differant opinions on everything from the quality of the weed to the drinks and the service, it has been a few years since I was last in the Noon so things may have changed.

I'm curious enough now that I'll be sure to go back next time just to get another look. I didn't really look close and I didn't use the bathroom when I was there, so I certainly wouldn't argue forcefully that it was clean.

I was in a really good mood when I was there, and hit it off with Dan, the budtender who was working. It was sunny and the shop was really quiet, just with two old dutch men sharing a spliff and two young very pretty dutch girls sitting at the bar (flirting with Dan, who is a cutie.)

It was at that time, the exact kind of scene that I dig, so I know my rose-colored glasses were on.

Really great stuff here, thanks guys. If there's any other suggestions I'll add them to my list.
Why drink and drive when you can smoke and fly?
