im making Cannabutter for the first time today

Using 5G of Shake + 10 grams of grinder Killer Bud!
1/2 lb of Butter unsalted!
in 2liters of water (4cups)
it on the stove...

Question how long should i leave it? some say 1 hour other say up to 8hours??

is that enough weed? i've heard you need a ounce for a proper batch of butter. i could be very wrong though.

That is PLENTY of gear. I've used 5g of absolute shit with that amount of butter and the result was fine. The recipe made about 14 cookies, of which I ate 5 or 6 (around 7pm), and I woke up the next morning around 8am and was completely FUCKED. I could barely stand. Yes, I'm serious.

I simmered it for about 3-4 hours. An hour may be long enough, but I'd simmer it much longer just to make sure you've eeked every last BIT of THC out of the plant material.

I normally simmer it on low for about 3 hours... I think 8 hours is too long.

yea i dont buy them though. not really into edibles. i want to try tincture though. i dont think the cakes/brownies/cookies work for me. i made a batch of brownies using a ton of cannabutter. my friend ate one and got f'd. my other friend didn't feel much. my brother got wasted. and i ate 2 and didn't feel much.

The Edible at my Club are Very good 1/4 to 1/2 of the crispy wit in 45min your sleeping! for only 10$ but ... they got RAIDED last Week

yea dude my cannabutter was $10 too. mainly everything there is $10 a gram except the bubble hash which is $20.

Oh! you got the butter from you club! nice we dont have that cause aint club that make edible for them « they trying to fix everyone up till Judgement day (2-3week from now) hope everything does good and they re-open! but yeah the Connection for Edible didnt get raided so all us sick ppl waitting on E-mail from new local to get YUM YUMS in mean will iv desided to make my OWN butter and Canna food that my story « or like ppl would say RANT!

a dispensary here got raided/closed. but they deserved it as evidently they sold to non card holders.

whats the water for?...just throw all that ina melted stick of butter,simmer fir a half hour never boiling,,,strain, and there ya go,,,,,

Water...Its so the butter doesnt evaporate!
