What sort of mug pays £50 for a game? I paid £25.99 for MW2 on day of release from Morrisons

when it was released all the supermarkets sold a handfull of the games @half price to get the punters in &then jacked up the price once the 20copies had sold. maybe in the deep outback where u live £25 copies were readily available, in london them copies went in seconds to the 'mugs' who qued up

3D isn't going to win any 'wars' either you need too spend about £1800 to play the handful of games in 3D.

just like when hdtv was introduced, within a couple years all new tvs were hd ready & the prices dropped faster than a dutch whores nickers, 3d is the future of gaming, like it or not ps3 is the console that will still be going strong long after the xbox is in the bin, + bluray, divx & unlike the xbox online gaming is FREE &before every1 bangs on about it being better for playing online,bullshit, my bros got 1 & it is EXACTLY the same, i dont blame xbox owners for feeling bitter about buying the wrong console

The PS3 controllers are alright if you're living in the past or you have hands like Jeremy Beadle, the 360's controller is loads better especially for FPS & driving games, online is way better on the 360 as well, I'm involved with the gaming community (the people who game for money) and everyone agrees the small price you pay for the 360's online is well worth it, the fact that near enough no-one uses a headset on the PS3 stops the games from being played how they're meant to be played as in communication is key when it comes to team games, PC gamers are no.1 when it comes to LAN but out of the consoles the 360 is the console of choice, I dont feel bitter whatsoever if given the choice today I'd still choose a 360 over a PS3.

3D isn't the future at all, no-one I know wants it they all say the same thing it's just a gimmick (no-one thought HD was a gimmick), the 360 was out what 2-3 years before the PS3 yet the PS3 still gets the inferior versions of the games, MW2 isn't as fluid and the differance on Red Dead is ridiculous.

Most of them think you wont be able to have a session (4+ hrs) gaming in 3D, tbh Avatar was awesome in 3D but for me it took away from the movie, I sat for 3 hrs in awe at the effects and took zero notice of the movie, I've since watched it twice in 2D and enjoyed it more.

Money/gaming is people who play professionaly, most of the MLG games (Major League Gaming, google MLG prize money) happens in the US with the teams earning decent money but a casual gamer (I'm casual) will get slaughtered, I dont know about you but the best score I've got on MW2 in a Team Deathmatch game was 30-1, these guys do things like that all the time.

I'm not a pc gamer so I'm not even going down that road, the thing I think we can/should agree on is this, Halo made online console gaming what it is and matchmaking is the best thing since Pong.

I'm just playing btw re: 360/PS3, I say get whatever console that has the games you want to play, I'm a big FPS fan and the 360 is imo the better console for that.

I can't understand how 93% are against it. Surely it'll be an option within a game to use a 3D viewing equipment, or not. Like using the steering wheel to drive or a joypad. But anybody that is into their gaming has to see the potential it has. At the very least they shouldn't be against something extra. I think it's just a load of people bitching because 1, they gotta wear goofy glasses (which will be redesigned into a set of shades) and 2, they know deep within themselves if it's any good it means a new 3000 euro peripheral has to be bought. Seriously though, GT5, Colin McCrae, Grand theft, any spooky style of game, Ace Combat, Time Crisis etc etc etc.
