Hello , i'm 33 & my last trip was my first alone anywhere & i fucking loved it . T&T's are worth it , even if only 1/2 others turn up , you'll have a new mate & someone to smoke a shitload with

My main tip which ive posted elsewhere aswell is , be polite & say hi to everyone

never know who you'll get talking to

Oh aye, you'll love it for sure.
Get yourself a bike, live like a local. Chill in coffeeshops with a few good strains and a book or something. Relax.
Best thing about solo travelling is that you can easily get seats most of the time. Even at the busiest periods.
Plus, you can move to your own rhythm which is great.

Have been to A'Dam 45 times and out of that 45 I have been solo 42. I much prefer going solo. As it has been said before you can choose what you want to do and 9 times out of 10 you'll find people to talk to on your trip. Anyway have a great trip mate.

I just completed my third solo trip and really had a great time. I like traveling solo, it is uncomplicated. Before I had ever traveled solo, I was afraid being bored as well but it just wasn't the case - and how could it be in the dam

The freedom is great! no one to say "oh not another coffeeshop" & "why do we have to walk everywhere" + the worst one out of the lot "i fancy an early night tonight" wtf f-that

,Its also great not to hear someone snoring all night as well

haha, i can relate to that. I go with my wife who can smoke a hell of a lot, but once we went with friends and they did us in with comments such as this. I believe we were heading towards Barneys Uptown for a wake and bake and we got "oh no, not another smoke den". Safe to say, we've been on our own on every other trip since.

I always travel solo
I suggest you spring 30E a night for a dorm room at the Bulldog Hotel, very central, ver clean, great crew and I ALWAYS meet interesting groups and singles staying there.
After you are settled with your sacred botanicals, look into the iAmsterdam attraction pass/tram card ... I can attest to a combo of Atlantis truffles + Van Gogh Museum around 3 pm
Canal boat ride, Nieu Kirk, Olde Kirk, Reich Mueseum, Botanical Garden ... all + more included.
Either Abraxas for ambiance in coffeeshops

Rent a bike.
Walking is for crazy people, the city is made for bikes

I almost always went alone and now I live here alone. This city caters for single people very well.
If you want to meet up for a smoke when your over, post your dates once you have them and we can arrange at T&T sometime if you like?
