Indica Hash vs Sativa Hash

Post by Iko »

Is there a common rule for determining if a Hash is Indica based or Sativa based ?
Talking more along the lines of the "import" Hashes not so much the Ices as they are a little easier to judge from there lineage.
Had some awesome Himalayan hash last August, but that shit did not allow sleep  .

I always ask when buying hash because it's often not obvious on the menu.

I think as a general rule, Afghan is more of a stone, Nepalese is more of a high, and Moroccan can be either or both :?

Polm seems to be a stone but Super Polm more of a high? Confuses the hell out of me but perhaps someone can enlighten me ?

I can't search for the answer because it's against my religion  :D

Its almost never clear when buying hash, whether its sativa or indica dominant.

I'm guessing that most African and Middle Eastern producers don't make a distinction, they just have their own traditional/local strains that grow well in their conditions.

I used to think that the colour was some indication of sativa/indica, eg. blond hashes were more sativa, dark ones were more indica. But now I'm under the impression the colour is more to do with how it was processed, eg. was it pressed under heavy weight, was heat used.

Does this help?

I'm going to take a practical approach in thinking this through, care to join me? Alrighty then........., let's go.

First, there are the primary strains of cannabis, Sativa and Indica.
Second, and as we all know, Sativa is for the head, Indica is for the body, all things considered.
So, this leads us to Thirds, or Thirdly: When the strain is known, so too shall be the effects, also all things considered. I suppose if the region is known (Nepal, India (various locations), Pakistan, Afghanistan, Morocco, Lebanon, The Netherlands, and so on...) this too would aid in identifying what it probably is, and isn't. Huh? Never mind......

In closing, I would say that asking the tender what they know/think is an absolute beginning to what could be a wonderful experience. Or, you could just buy a gram of the most expensive Hash on the menu and take your chances. Either you are going to spend the day where you're at vegged out, or you will spend the day where you're at trying to answer the following questions - What is the meaning of life and is cannabis one of the secret 11 herbs and spices (KFC Chicken)? '' ':o' ''

Oh shit, time to go. I see my nurse heading towards me with a dose of ziprasidone. Yikes..., later. ':P'
