Haha, chuckled at this.

Good recommendations. I'll be there in two days so I'll be trying these out for sure.

I like Betty Boops Milkshakes (they also do one with hash which well and truly fucked me over one trip) and as already said Amnesia. The shakes in Abraxas used to be pretty good but been a while since I've had one.

Veggies...lets all buy a Pirus, shit in the woods and eat a carrot?

I'm ripping man i used to be Veggie myself, then i went out with an Irish bird who refused to cook Veggie food and man can only live on Peanut butter sandwiches so long!

TBH man i haven't seen them in CS, doesn't mean they don't exist, in fact there are some cool Veggie places in Amsterdam! It's not always easy to find them though be warned. WoktoWalk you can get without meat options, that's what i lived on and the chips with Mayo when i was Veggie. Although those chips could be cooked in Fat, i never asked.

i haven't looked for any but im sure it cant be hard to find a soy milkshake in the dam. i'm sure alot of coffeeshops stock soy or at the least rice milk. there are alot of veggies out there. but the ice cream is going to have cream in it so it kinda defeats the purpose...worst case scenario if you have access to a blender go to ah grab some soy milk and ice cream and make your own while your in your hotel/apt smoking.

as for shakes in coffeeshops my vote is amnesia..but to be fair thats the only place iv ordered a shake in the dam aside from bk.
educating myself and waiting for the next trip.

Thanks guys.
No worries, i gave up on being vegan 2 years ago, it was just too hard to pull off all the time.
But being vegan for so many years left me lactose intolerant, so i can share a bowl of icecream or split a milkshake, ricemilk etc is alot easier on my stomach.
Tons of veggie options in Amsterdam though, Maos and V and D were the two best.
The fries i did try were vegetable oil.

Are there any other places that sell shakes with weed/drugs in them?

My mate was telling me about a shake he had there that messed him up, but he had no idea where it was from or what was in it?

So if anyone could tell me where else they have these sorts of shakes I would very much appreciate it.

Cheers.

Back in the day Abraxas hash shakes were meant to be pretty knockout but last time I was there I noticed you had to buy a small bag of ground up hash and mix it in yourself. That was a while ago and haven't asked recently though.

Can't think of any others at the mo other than Betty Boop, which I'd reccomend. Of course in any coffeeshops which do shakes you can buy some hash seperately and mix it in yourself or even ask the staff to whizz it in for you, i'm sure most places would have no problem with this.

I think Hunters will add your hash to their milkshakes as well.

N00b question; do a majority of milkshakes offered at coffeeshops contain mj or hash? I've read people ranting and raving (other threads as well) about them but never found a clear answer to this.

Hunters do weed shakes. My mate who was out in the dam in June decided to try one and it knocked him for six apparently. Well worth the money he said.

I only drink vanilla milk shakes. Had some at hill street blues but they were too thin and milky. Coffeeshop 36 up the street had beautiful thick shakes though. Spent a fortune on them last week.
