Amnesia make some wicked milk shakes - thick, creamy and to die for! The mango one I had recently had syrup swirls in the glass, was so thick you could barely drink it at first, and lashings of cream. Seriously yummy.
Had one again last week - just as good.

I had a shake at Blues Brothers and it was nice. It's not hard to do a good shake, special or otherwise.

Forgot to mention last September I had a gorgeous milkshake from Rusland. I had the caramel while friends had strawberry. All shakes where as thick as George Bush and made with ice-cream. Bit steep though at 4.50 euro a shake.

Heaven 69 in Maastricht has the best milkshakes I have tasted.

There is no such thing as Soy Milk, it's Soy Juice.

That particular specimen is sitting on a table out front of Amnesia.

I guess the giveaway for the experienced visitor (to Amnesia) is the graffittied utility box.

Enjoy

A little harsh on the experienced visitor comment! Just because most of my experience is further South and little further from Dam doesn't make it invalid, just different. Still, now that I have a target, I have a goal! I'll think of you in September when I'm sitting at Amnesia with chocolate in my mustache and trying to take a picture of their menu!

Best,

Ed

P.s. I am commited to your mission. At 1.1 million hits, you are my hero!!

A quarter gram of Grey Mist Crystals sprinkled on/into it doesn't hurt either. Looks like a little something on that one.

I could tell this was an Amnesia shake by the swirls in the glass (though the grafitti outside confirmed it)!! This is just how my mango shake was. One of the ladies in there (forget her name) is supposedly the milk shake queen! Next time have the cream on top. Makes it even more yummy.

And you're sitting in my seat  That's where I always sit when I go there, unless it's cold when I sit just inside the doorway.
