Don't deapair! I have another week's worth of trip to write about after 420. :) :) Here is the next, Where's Hestia :) . There is a story with this one. I had to do this one mostly by memory. I was setting up to do the sketch near the Old Kirk, where all the run down old hookers and trannies go, as I was getting started on the sketch I was proposititioned (I think) in German by a creepy looking guy.     I chose to pack up and leave. I mean honestly, the only time anything improper was said to me my whole trip WTF :!:

Day 7, April 21, Monday
The winners of the 420 are, first place Green Place :!: , 2nd place Basjoes :!: , 3rd place Kazu :!: . And all around best bar, the Nes. :!: :!:

I came back to life at about 9:30 or so, desperately in need of a cup of coffee. Good thing I am partially dressed from yesterday :? , so I only have to put on one shoe and my glasses before I drag myself down the hall to the kitchen, microwave some water, make coffee, grab a bottle of juice and wander back.. Oh shit! My sinuses are killing me, too much smoke and cold night air. I'll take my claritin and hope for the best two cups of coffee an d a pipe of silver pearl later I'm starting to breathe a bit better but still have a pressure headache

Oh well. Nothing to do about it except get on with the day. And a pretty day it is too, sunny and clear. So I hit the shower, dress warmly and down the stairs to Y's, for a cup of coffee, Internet and a couple of more pipes. The house is very quiet this morning. Y looks a bit done in after last night so I maker her coffee for a change. As I leave out for the day, y sits at the table her head in her hands scowling into the coffee cup. The bun-buns are starting to go home and she's feeling sad this morning. :( :(

So out the door, turn left walk 3 blocks and turn left again. 12.50 Euros of amnesia haze and breakfast. Fresh croissants from next door, gouda cheese, a slice of sausage and 2 cups of coffee a super good way to start the day. Amnesia haze, super good looking buds today, fresh stock in this morning, Yeah! :D

Afterwards its out the door, head left again and start moseying toward the red light district, meeting up with everyone at the green place to give them their first place certificate. I stop along the way at the Albert Hein for apples, cookies and water to keep me going through the day and here's the green place, I go in and order a Cassis, and a gram of train wreck, take a seat by the window to wait for everyone else. It's not long until here comes IG & friends, BB and friends, DUR, Treetop, Spider God among others. Much weed, hash and drinks were ordered. We then proceeded to go outside and party up for a while. The Green place coffee shop was glad to accept first place, they deserved it. A super coffee shop, I have always found good weed and service any time I went there. Also the bathroom is easy to get to and is clean. They Marco, the green house, said we were more than welcome to come back next year for the 420 and to say thanks to the ACD and the 420 cup for the win. :)

After an hour or 2 of good company and buzz we headed to Basjoe's to give them their 2nd place certificate, so we all went in Bagera's coffee shop next to Basjoes' the bud tender Highly blessed is a nice guy who did right by ;us all. A clean shop with an excellent smoking area, big and comfortable. While there, IG bought some Casey Jones butter hash, and some kalagiria weed. I bought some house weed and cant remember its name, enough said. But I do remember the hash and weed IG got, Yum. Tack and Holly came by and joined the party. They are such nice people, absolute sweethearts. IG's friend came in also and he had some totally F***ed me up smoke too. Coffee machine was broken so I had a cassis to drink. Total dry mouth. It was a super good T & T and everyone had a high old time.

As tack and Holly were leaving they invited DUR and me over for coffee later in the day, which was OK because IG took off with her friend in one direction and BB took off with her friend in another direction, leaving me and DUR on our on. So we all parted ways and left the Bagera coffee shop very well toasted :?

It being a lovely afternoon, DUR and I walked some of the lovely back streets of Amsterdam. Always a lovely thing to do, something interesting around every corner. And all you have to do is go and look. I never get tired of searching around. Thanks a lot Ron, you Rock! :!:

So slowly we work our way toward the Jordaan area and go to Tack an Holly's houseboat for coffee. A beautiful view of the canal from the living room window and a super interesting way to live. Tack an Holly are a wonderful couple, a joy to go visit, good coffee too. I thing we were smoking Amnesia Haze from Picassos, good smoke, taste and buzz :) . At around 5:30 or so, DUR left tack and Holly's and I 'm afraid I had to beg off going out to dinner with everyone as previously planned. I'm bushed an still have that darned pressure headache, so I need more meds which are back in the room of course. So bidding good bye to Ron and sending my apologies to everyone else, I make my was back to my room, take some more sinus meds and lay down for an hour or so, or at least until I feel a bit better....OH No! Crashed for the night!

I remember that day very well, wish you would have felt good enough to go out to dinner with us at De Schutters. BB just got dessert and come to think of it, I only got a bowl of soup. DUR was the only person that got a meal - one consisting of prawns with their beady eyes lookin' at me - yikes! It was okay, just kept my eyes off of his plate and watched BB's chocolate dessert with ice cream.

Love your reports, ma sistah. Takes me right back... thank you for taking the time and see you again real soon. Gotta get my peach pie fix! Only yours will do now. 8)

Oh yeah, I found you in your 'Where's hestia' drawing, but I'm gonna let someone else out ya this time

Herer we go again :!:

Day 8, April 22, Thursday

A beam of sunlight steals across my face, awakening me to an early morning, fresh and clear. There had been rain during the night, so now everything was clean and new for the day. A good long nights sleep, along with FlowNase and I'm feeling much, much better! :D Up and down the hall to the kitchen for coffee, then off to the showers. Dress smoke a pipe of Am Haze, then down the stairs and out the door earlier than usual, I'm wide awake and ready to go see what's going on. Turn right, cross the street walk a block and into the door at Popeye's.

Got a gram of vanilla Kush. It is a good choice, good flavor, not too harsh on the throat and a good buzz, I like this much better than their pink Kush. Order up a black coffee then up the stairs to get on the computer. After checking my e-mail and such and a pipe of vanilla Kush, a great way to spend an hour of so on a Thursday morning in the Dam. 8)

Afterwards I took a stroll along the canals, just looking at the place and the people. There is always something going on here. Stopped at a lovely little bakery/cafe on the Singal canal, across from Dutch Flowers coffee shop and had a scrumptious apple pie thingy. There were big windows so you could sit and watch the action while enjoying your snack. Feeling much refreshed, I head toward the gray area, I found it this time without much trouble. Most of the times I've tried to get to the gray area I've usually managed to get turned around or slightly lost, but not today, I zero in on it like a hunting dog

Good, the place is mostly empty! So in I go, up to the bud tender, look at the menu , order a gram of 4077 medical leaf and a cassis, grab a seat and load up a pipe. A wonderful smoke, super pain killer, heavy stone, almost a couch lock. But if you make yourself get up and get mobile, you can function! And that's exactly what I did -- I got up and got mobile, said good bye to the bud tender and hit the road.

Went to Tac & holly's houseboat for coffee and a visit and a buzz. I hadn't been there very long until her comes IG for a visit & buzz too! Sweet! :!: :) I G had some NYCD - excellent smoke- holly's favorite! Tac showed me his computer site and we all had a super visit. We all parted after this to meet later on at Basjoes. I myself needed to stop by my room to gather up my dirty clothes and hit the Laundromat. Fortunately there was a good one about two blocks from the room so snap!, snap! Snap! Clean duds for the week!

As I'm dragging my stuff up the stairs to my room, Y opens her door and invites me in. Cool. So I put my things up and go back down to Y to see what's going on with her. A hash pipe, of course, absolutely, totally bitchen! Woo, hoo! Then a friend of Y's shows up with his new motor scooter. So we all get rides around central canal area. What fun! Cruising along, wind in your hair, sun on your face, dodging cars & pedestrians. It was a ride I'll never forget, exhilarating and terrifying at the same time. :)

When we were done going for scooter rides we al went back to Y's apt and had some fruit & cheese with fresh breads, absoulutely wonderful company. But I have to be shoving off. I need to go to Basjoes by 6:00 for the next meet up. Also to give James his 2nd place certificate for the 420 cup.

We all had an excellent time of course. There was Dave S. , Lamps, Angry pirate & friend, BB, IG, Soul Rider and others. James was very happy with his award and lots of pictures were taken. Just to help out with the party, James loads up a joint of Mex Haze with terminator! Holy Shit Bat man! What a buzz! Joints everywhere, smoking until you just couldn't hardly get much more in. Look! I 'm not bitching or nothing, but I've notice that after 6 full days of pretty constant weed smoking my freakin lungs have started t ache.

At around 9:00 ro so, we all start moving off, some to another destination and a few of us moseyed up to the Nes to see what was going on - not much since DC wasn't in this evening so after a drink and a joint or so we, IG ,Dave S and I all went out of the Nes about 10:00 - I headed towards my warm bed a cold drink and a few chapters of an excellent book I brought along with me, "Herbal Healing Through History" Good night & sleep tight!
