Such a versatile instrument
Agreed, I have it going thru a small bong with percolator, sometimes filled with ice. Gives pretty good quality vapor, big hits too. I don't use the balloons much anymore.
I also hooked it up to a pedestal on wheels
I have the 2013 version but I gotta note that the build quality is still pretty abhorrent overall, especially the plastic encasing should go away in the next revision and be replaced by something much stronger, with a better system for attaching the top ring.

I don't know, I've never heard of that problem with the Q, but it could be spelling trouble.
Best to send Arizer an email, they might recognize it.
BTW, I find that filling the bong with too much water can massively degrade the taste of the vapor. I now use a minimum amount of (hot) water, to just slightly humidify the vapor. I then fill the tube with ice for cooling. I switch the fan on while taking a hit, to assist airflow, and this way I can easily clear 0.1 - 0.15 gram in one hit. It gives huge clouds with loads of flavor

I love bags does it give a good vape bag like the Volcano. I like the vapor real thick, so you get that flavour coat all over your teeth?
Temp goes higher than on a Volcano and you have finer control over airflow (adjust fan speed). It gives great dense vapor for bags and is reasonably fast. The stock bags are lame, tho. You'll want to hook up a few less crinkly/louds ovenbag of custom size and fix a Volcano EasyValve or similar nozzle onto it. If you get one of the latest models with the strong quiet fans you'll easily make volcano quality bags or better. With a bit of practice you'll extract 0.25 gram bowls into forearm-length bags of opaque vapor

Once it is switched on, it stays on? No other issues?
I've had zero issues with the controls in half a year of daily use, and I usually have had it switched on for 18 hours of the day. If I were you I'd try to swap it for a fresh unit, tbh, instead of waiting for more trouble to surface after warranty has expired. The build quality isn't exactly such that you'll want to disassemble it and go thru it with a multimeter

Clean the contacts, also switch the battery in the remote.

3-year warranty on the electronics, lifetime warranty on the heater, you should be OK
Clean the contacts, also switch the battery in the remote.
Won't hurt, but is unlikely to fix it. The chance of BOTH the remote on-off button and the toggle-button on the unit itself wearing down in such a short time seems slim

Guys, there's a (maybe silly

) question I'd like to ask to all of you Arizer Q Extreme users.
I've read the whole thread but couldn't find any specific info about this.
The question is: to attach the device to a glass bong do I need to buy extras/spares? And if so, which one? Thanks in advance!!!!
On a side note, I do not own a vaporizer yet...

If your downstem is a 18.8 you're good, if it's a 14.4 you need an adaptator
